𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 - lynn loud jr

part 12

after Lynn came back we both got ready for bed and went to sleep only saying 'night' to each other and nothing else

it is now morning and I just woke up in an empty bed again...

I know Lynn is probably on a run but its still sad waking up without her

I get up and go to the bathroom

ugh

why did I have to get my period now...

after I'm finished in the bathroom I go downstairs to eat breakfast 

while I'm eating Luan comes up to me 

"hey, everyone is going to the beach in like half an hour so be ready" she says 

"actually can I just stay here, I don't really feel like going" I answer because I'm scared of tampons and have bad cramps

"oh um yeah ok, bye" Luan says and walks away

"bye" I reply and keep eating 

after I'm finished I go up to my room and curl up in a blanket with some netflix on my laptop

of course I'm watching 'Young Sheldon' for the 5th time (my legit comfort show)

about 3 episodes later I decide to go get a snack from the kitchen so I open my door and walk downstairs 

as I'm walking downstairs I notice that I hear the tv running 

who could that be?

I walk more down the stairs but slowly so whoever is there doesn't hear me coming

I turn the corner and I see that brunette ponytail I know so well sitting on the back of the couch 

"Lynn?" I say as I walk towards the couch 

she turns and her eyes widen "Jules?" she says confused 

"what are you doing here? I thought you would be at the beach" I ask 

"I could ask you the same thing" she says and jumps off the couch to walk towards me and stops 2 feet away from me 

2 feet too far

"I just got my period and didn't feel like going to the beach" I admit

"oh really? that's exactly why I'm still here too" she says 

OMG IM SYNCED WITH LYNN 

I nod and try to be cool "cool, I was just coming down to get a snack so... yeah" I say walking away awkwardly 

Lynn follows me to the kitchen and sits on the counter while I am reaching for the chips 

once I get them I take out a bowl and as I'm filling it I look to Lynn "um... I've been meaning to ask this but I just feel like your ignoring me" I say embarrassed "I don't want to be annoying but I just feel like we've gotten so close and then we just don't talk for a whole day, when we legit share a room..." 

she scratches the back of her neck "oh, yeah I'm sorry I just... I don't know... thought it would be weird between us after our... you know... kiss?" 

I look at her confused "why would it be weird?" 

"I don't know ok! I'm not good at these kind of things, I... ughhh how do I say this... I don't have that many friends and you are the closest friend I've ever had and I don't want to fuck this up!" she answers in a panicked tone 

I walk over to her so I'm in front of her while she's still sitting on the counter and place my hands on her knees "oh Lynn, don't worry our friendship will never be ruined" I give her a reassuring smile 

she smiles back sheepishly "thanks, that really means a lot to me" 

I smile and nod "I was watching netflix on my laptop in our room if you want to join?"

"yes!" she smiles "definitely"

I take her hands and she jumps off the counter, we then get the chips and walk upstairs 

"what were you watching?" she asks while we walk 

"don't make fun of me when I answer though" I tell her 

"I would never!" she brings her hands to her heart dramatically and I cant help but laugh 

"fine I was watching Young Sheldon" I say as we get up the stairs and open the door to our room

she nods "honestly its a W show"

"thank you! it's literally my comfort show" I say and jump onto the bed "I've only watched it like 5 times through" 

she laughs "seriously?" and jumps on the bed with me

"yeah..." I answer 

"you are insane" she chuckles 

"you love my insanity though" I smile cutely 

"yeah... I do" she rolls her eyes "unfortunately" she adds

I gasp "what!" I mimic what she did before and bring my hands to my heart but I can't do it for long before we both start laughing 

she looks so pretty when shes laughing 

after we finish laughing -it took forever but we did it- we turn on Young Sheldon and lay  together on the bed 

lynns pov

FRIENDSHIP?!?!

was I just friendzoned by Jules?

we are currently laying together watching 'Young Sheldon' and I can feel her breathing 

I think its so cute how she watched it 5 times through 

I love how she gets so excited over little things like that 

I love how she smiles when she knows shes being cute 

I love how close we are right now

I love her

I was only joking when I said that I 'unfortunately' love her because she is the best thing that's ever happened to me  

"I'm so glad we are good again because I was going crazy" I whisper in her ear

she looks up at me with that cute smile of hers again "me too"

I could not have them not talking for another chapter so you guys can thanks me for that 

I'm actually terrified because I find out if I made the volleyball team on Friday so yeah
