The school buzzed with excitement and gossip following Alyssa and Tyler's kiss, but the tension between Tyler and Sophie was palpable. Tyler was determined to address the unresolved issues and confront the elephant in the room.

One afternoon, Tyler found Sophie sitting alone in the courtyard, her demeanor distant and frustrated. He approached her with a sense of urgency, ready to confront the situation head-on.

"Sophie," Tyler began, his tone sharper than usual, "we need to talk about how you've been acting since you found out Alyssa and I are back together."

Sophie looked up, her surprise evident. "About what?"

"About the way you've been treating us," Tyler said, his voice rising slightly. "I understand you're upset, but you're the one who rejected me. You pushed me away and made it clear that you weren't interested. So why are you acting like this now?"

Sophie's eyes widened with a mix of shock and defensiveness. "I'm just trying to deal with my feelings. I didn't expect things to turn out like this. It's hard seeing you with Alyssa when I thought we had something real."

Tyler's frustration was palpable. "It's not just about seeing me with Alyssa. It's about how you're handling it. You rejected me, and now you're acting like I betrayed you. I was left trying to figure out my feelings, and when Alyssa came back, I had to make a choice. But your behavior now—it's not fair to me or her."

Sophie's face flushed with a mix of guilt and anger. "I didn't mean for it to come across like that. I'm struggling with my emotions, and it's been hard to see you move on."

Tyler's voice softened slightly, though his frustration remained. "I get that it's tough. But taking it out on us isn't the right way to handle it. We need to deal with these feelings honestly and respectfully if we're going to move forward."

Later, Alyssa overheard parts of Tyler's conversation with Sophie and felt a mix of concern and sadness. She approached Tyler after he finished talking to Sophie.

"How did it go?" Alyssa asked softly, her eyes searching Tyler's for any sign of resolution.

Tyler sighed, running a hand through his hair. "We talked, but it's clear there's still a lot of pain and confusion. I just hope Sophie can find a way to deal with her feelings without making things harder for everyone."

As the day came to a close, Tyler and Alyssa found a quiet spot on the school's rooftop, away from the chaos. The setting sun cast a warm glow, offering a peaceful backdrop for their conversation.
