Smoky air

Smoky air,
Empty silence,

You should not have said yes to my heart shattering,
So many broken pieces, I lost count.
I wanted your everything, but to you, I was nothing,
Empty faces, I fall into the darkest places.

Smoky air,
Empty silence,

You ask for forgiveness—will I ever be the same?
Don't you dare come back, I'll see nothing but black.
Burning everything you gave me,
Burning my once perfectly good heart.

Smoky air,
Empty silence,

I gave you my trust, but you tore us apart,
I can't even see you without her on your lips.
Your promises turning into flames,
Smoke erasing you from my memory.

Smoky air,
Empty silence.
