To Ally

I gave you all I had, but all you gave back were pain and tears.

Dying inside, I fake a smile when Snow White kisses the prince Charming.

I don't even remember the day you first kissed me.

It wasn't under the willow, I love so much, the sun wasn't bright enough,

And I wasn't wearing that little black dress that fits me so well.

I know I'll be okay, one day. Isn't that what they say?

I miss your secret prayers, your lips and whispers—You and I.

In your glass globe, under snowflakes, you dance with fate.

I'm not crying. Who told you I missed you? But do you miss me?

I don't care—it's not fair, it's not right. Why should I hurt while your

Fingers are intertwined with fingers that will never again be mine?

I'll find someone who will truly care, where things will be fair and right.

And you'll exist only in that snow globe, dancing alone with your ghost.
