Falling

Falling into your arms, you lift me back up,

Again and again, until the very end.

Our fingers intertwined, for how many evermores?

The one,  you kiss every part of me

This is how it's ought to be.

Falling down the cliff, I carry you to the top,

Again and again, until it all comes to an end.

Leaping after you, how long can we last?

The one I'll never leave.

But with a death rattle, you tear my heart apart,

Shattered and bleeding, I fall.

Falling down the cliff, all I can do is watch,

Again and again, until you are no more.

Turning away, I eclipse you from my world.

How long can I remain?

The one who bolts as you bleed,

I walk through the fields, collapsing without you around.

Broken and lovely, I fall.
