For weeks violent thunderstorms have been terrorizing Berk, with only small gaps between each massive burst. Though the Berkians had been hoping that the weather would calm down, it's only gotten worse with each storm beating down on the island ruthlessly. It's only once Hiccup meets a mysterious dragon rider does he realize there's a way to save Berk from the nearing lethal weather... But it won't be easy.
Though he's constantly left butting heads with the unfamiliar rider, Hiccup knows they'll have to cooperate to defeat the mythological dragon causing everything. If only it were a bit easier to get on his good side...

Hi! :D I've had a lot of fun working on this! I have the first chunk of chapters done, so they'll be posted really soon!
This fanfic takes place after HTTYD 2 in place of The Hidden World. There's no Light Fury or Grimmel, it's a completely different story with a completely different conflict and Fury dragon that Toothless meets.
This is also a M/M Hiccup x OC fic, so it will feature an amicable Hiccstrid breakup later on!
(And Astrid will end up with someone else, but you'll have to see who 👀 Leave your guesses)
