The car was fast. We don't even know why. Mum and Dad were holding on to me. The driver in front of us was calm but he was sending alerts to the Palace. Mum hugged me tighter. Dad hugged Mum and I more. Mum was almost crying.
I looked outside and saw the bridge. Now the car was swerving and turning.
"Alert! Brakes are cut. I repeat brakes are cut!" The driver said. "I don't know what would happen, my King and Queen but I'm so sorry."
"It is alright, Dane. We accept whatever fate we have in our hands." Daddy said, hugging us tighter.
"I love you, James." Mum said.
" I love you most." Daddy said while kissing Mum. "I love you, our dearest daughter, Jamielle."
"Daddy. Mum. I love you..." I say while silently crying.
The car was swerving harder and when I heard a loud honk probably from a truck, the car turned hard and I felt the hard impact. Mum and Dad were holding me tight. I heard the glasses shatter. I felt myself dizzy and passed out.
After some moments, I felt myself. I can't breathe. Mum and Dad's hug was loose.
"Mum? Dad?" I shake them. They were moving. The driver wasn't moving also. The car was destroyed, the windows are shattered, the front of the car was smashed to the bridge. I heard the sirens of ambulance and police.
I shake my Mum and Dad harder. "Mummy! Daddy!" They weren't moving. "Mum!" I hug them both. I heard men talking from outside. "Mum!"
"Shh... I hear someone!"
"Yes, check the car, look for possible cause of explosion. Quickly remove the King and Queen from the car. And Her Royal Highness."
"Mummy!" I hugged them tighter. I don't want to let go."
Someone was pulling them away from me. I held them tighter.
"The Princess is alive!" A man said.
"Help! The Princess is alive!"
"Mummy!" I cried when the pulled them away from me. No. No. No. I can't let them take my Mum and Daddy away from me.
"Both are dead, the King and Queen are dead!"
No! "Mummy!"
I jolt up. I'm awake. I'm sweaty. I had a dream of Mum and Dad. The day they died.
I shook my head. Then I heard three knocks on the door. Erik went inside. "Are you okay?"
"Yes. Its just a nightmare."
Erik approached me and sat on the bed. "Do you want to talk about it?"
"Its is Mum and Dad. The day of the accident."
"Oh. Do you want something to be done?"
"Can we go to Mum and Dad?"
"That would blow up your cover."
"I don't care. Let it be."
"Hi, Mum. Dad."
I caressed Mum and Dad's tombstones. They were buried here in Westminster Abbey. Together. I wonder how life could be if Mum and Dad were still alive.
