I heard my maids knock for three times already. It was already nine in the morning and I skipped classes and told them that I'm not feeling well. Next week, I should go back to school since it is already the finals. I heard them knocking again and I just rolled my eyes.

        "It's open!" I said.

"Your Highness, we're deeply sorry." Edna said.

"Are you feeling unwell?" Camille asked. They began going around my room pulling just one curtain.

"Unfortunately, I am. I need some rest."

"What do you want, Princess? Of course, your medicine comes first."

"No, Edna. I might not be feeling well but I don't need medical attention, it's the rest I need."

        "O-of course, Princess."

"But can you just bring me some tea."

        "Of course, Your Highness."

I blinked and they went out of my room after curtsying.

They went back after some minutes. My eyes were just closed but I'm not sleeping. Right now, I feel like my mind is completely blank. That my brain isn't actually functioning.

"Here is your tea, Princess. We will pour some in a cup and we will leave it. Just call if you are ever in need of assistance."

I nodded even without opening my eyes. I just heard the door close and I was again left alone.

Its probably afternoon and I haven't eaten much for lunch. I just don't feel like eating right now. I was just rolling around my bed. Trying to think of something but the essentials only come.

        Later, I heard someone knocking.

        "Jamielle?"

It was Vianne. I thought it was James. Why did I expect James to be concerned about me? He wouldn't be.

       "Come in."

Vianne went in my room and she sat beside me. "I heard you were not feeling well."

"Yes. I may have overworked myself."

"Is that so? I'll stay here if you want company."

"Vianne, thanks." I sat up and took the remote control of my television. "Are you going to watch?"

"On second thought, no I won't. All that's in the television these days are full of violence, sex and drugs."

"Realism and modernism at its finest, perhaps?"

"Too realistic. And too much vampire and wolf stuff. Mainstream. Like my life. It is mainstream. You would certainly predict what would happen next in my life."

        "Like what? How would you?"

"Like this girl... I can't think of anything. I've been like this all morning, so help me."

"You know, Jamielle, the mainstream Princess, let's get out. Just try it."

Maybe this was a good idea. I might just need the fresh air. I think? I pulled myself off the blankets and took my robe. I put my flip flops on then turned to Vianne.
