Not to their surprise when they returned back to the house Klaus was still there. He was lying lazily across the couch when they found him to ask if he'd help them. Of course Klaus agreed to do it on the condition that they would pay him and for the sake of having no other option Five agreed.

When Adelaine returned back to Five's room where she had left him with Klaus, walking past a relieved Vanya as she did, she was shocked to see him standing by himself. "What did you do to Klaus?" she asked the boy.

Just then the door to Five's wardrobe swung open and out clambered Klaus "Right here my sweet Adelaine" items began falling out as he stepped out breaking some of Five's stuff but the boy probably didn't care.

He stood in front of the pair who shared wide eyed expressions at his outfit "We told you to put on something professional" Five reminded the man.

Klaus looked at the pair confused "What? This is my nicest outfit" he told them, running his hand down the green ruffled shirt that was probably one of the most ugly things she had ever seen.

Adelaine shook her head sadly at the man "It really isn't" she told Klaus making him pout slightly looking his clothing up and down.

From beside her Five sighed at the appearance of his brother "We'll raid the old man's closet" he told Klaus beginning to walk out the door before the other two started following behind him.

The man didn't seem to care but agreed "Whatever. As long as I get paid" Klaus told them to which Five agreed but it was only for once he had finished the job for them. "Okay, but just so we're clear on the finer details, I just gotta go into this place and pretend to be your dear old dad"

"Yeah something like that" Five told him, moving to keep walking but Klaus didn't move with him and neither did Adelaine.

From beside her Klaus looked at her and huffed lightly "But that will never work, Addie and me don't have the same hair" he paused before getting an idea "She just has to be your girlfriend"

Adelaine felt her cheeks heat up, almost going the same colour as her hair as she looked over to Five who was already looking at her. They shared a look before Adelaine cleared her throat and looked away "Sure Klaus but it really doesn't matter"

The man dismissed her softly "It's all for my backstory so I can get into my role" Klaus thought before he asked "So was I like really young when I had you? Like sixteen, young and terribly misguided"

Five clearly just wanted to get this over and so went along with Klaus's idea "Your mother, that slut!" he exclaimed "Whoever she was, we met at the disco. Okay remember that, ooo maybe you guys met at a disco too"

Adelaine laughed softly at Klaus "Five hates dancing. It would be more realistic if we met in a coffee shop or library" she pointed out. The boy beside her noticed how well she knew him as she mentioned places he genuinely would go to.
