Diego made the group of them walk down small streets and alleys so that they wouldn't get as many weird looks over the drunken boy Luther was carrying. It was dark by now as they walked together and Five had finally woken up.
As Adelaine soon worked out however, Five was a very different person when drunk.Sure he was still cocky but he was more giggly and definitely had some sort of interest in Adelaine. As Diego told them they were going to his place the girl had moved over to be beside Five's line of vision so she ask him "How you feeling?"
Drunk out his mind Five's face screwed up at the sight of the girl "Excuse me lady, you need to back up" Adelaine and Luther looked at him confused before he continued "I have a girl in my life already I don't need another"
The red haired girl sighed realising Five's mistake "It's me Addie, Five. I'm the girl" she explained to him causing the boys eyes to widen in realisation as a wide grin spread across his face. He reached out to touch her hair and she simply let him but warned "You puke in my hair, you get stabbed"
Five simply giggled as he looked to the sky with a small belch "You know what's funny?" he asked them all not giving them time to answer before he doing it himself "I'm going through puberty. Twice. So is she"
Adelaine scoffed at him "Easy for you to say, you don't have to start getting your periods again" she groaned as Five grew a sad face in some sort of way to how he felt bad, which was weird for him but she appreciated it.
He then chuckled again at basically nothing before he shared with the others what he found so funny "I drank that whole bottle didn't I?" he sighed as Adelaine nodded "But that's what you do when the world you love goes bye-bye. Poof it's gone"
"It's okay Five, the world hasn't gone poof yet" the girl tried to comfort the boy in some way. She turned her head back to face him as she walked giving him a small smile that gave the boy a red face.
Five looked up to Luther with wide eyes "She smiled at me, the pretty girl over there" he picked his arm up limply to point at Adelaine causing Luther to look over also "Um no you can't look at her" Five told Luther causing the older man to look any were but Adelaine. "Hi pretty girl"
Adelaine laughed as she waved back to Five "Just remember Five drunk words are sober thoughts" she reminded him with a grin but he simply waved her off. The girl took a quick step and caught up with Diego who was slightly ahead "Agree we never let him forget this?"
Diego nodded before he turned to Five "Enough of whatever this is" he sighed at the pair before continuing "Two masked intruders attacked the Academy last night. And they came looking for you and possibly Addie. So I need you both to focus now. What do they want?"
Even though Diego asked both of them Adelaine didn't even know who these people were but Five did so she looked to him to answer "Hazel and Cha-Cha" he mumbled.
"Who?" Diego asked confused as to who these people were.
Luther groaned at the answer he was given "You know I hate code-names" he told Five.
