Chapter 26: Not ready for you

"It's been over a week since I have seen him, Most of this craziness has ended. It lasted a month." Hikari said sadly

"Continue training at these facilities and stop thinking about anything else, maybe you will meet him again," Eclipse said.

"Don't lie. Both you and I know what the goddess said." She said.

He says "Then why do you train?"

She says "I am scared."

Eclipse says "Scared?"

Hikari says "I am scared that I won't be able to protect him. I am scared that I may be the one who will end up hurting him. I want to be strong and I also want to be weak so I can't hurt him. I am confused."

While pondering what she said he walks away having not helped her.

At some random grasslands with abandoned buildings

"Astro I did it! I can now make sparks!" Moon said.

Astro says "Good now we are one step closer to our goal. I do wonder how you are yet to understand the Moon."

Moon furiously states "Listen here, space princess. I can't understand some giant space rock."

Astro says "I see so you can understand things that aren't told to you. For example, the fact that I am a princess."

Moon confused asks "You are a princess?"

"I thought we already went through this. Yes, I am."

Moon thinks "So I have been with a god princess for over a week and I am basically married to her. Hikari and Amaterasu will kill me."

She says "Since you finally started to grasp the power of your G1. I have to make you comfortable with it. The mini goal is to feel like an extension of your being."

"How do I do that?" He asked.

"The good thing is that since your G1 is already a part of the human body in the first place. All we have to do is increase the output until you can't move." Astro said.

Astro leads Moon outside the abandoned building. They continue to walk away from their week-old home.

She says "Here. This far should do."

Astro pulls out her staff and says "καταιγίδα."

Moon didn't understand what she said but a large storm appeared above his head.

Before he even had the chance to react. Boom! Moon gets struck with lightning.

His skin is burned. His hair is completely messed up.

The bolt left him paralyzed on the ground. Yet he felt a wave of energy.

His body begins to surge with electricity.

Moon looks at the power flowing from his body and he says "I think I understand it more. Lightning comes and goes. Thunder is what stays."

Astro says "Now release into the sky."

Moon shakily moves his hands to the sky and uses all the energy in his body.

He whales while letting it all out "HHHHAAAAWWWW"

A huge beam of lighting comes out of Moon's hands to the sky, breaking the clouds.

Astro says "Celsius"

Fresh cold water falls on Moon.

He shouts "What was that for!"

She said, "Stop overreacting."

Moon says "It's not my fault that it hurts."

Astro walks over to Moon and says "More physical training for you."

"All this hard work." He said

She says "Stop being lazy human. Being lazy is a sin."

Astro begins to click her teeth in hate.

"Hate god too," He says

Astro says in a pissed tone "I am god."

Both of them were silent for the rest of the training that day.

Later at night

Moon lays on the cold ground. Astro just sits behind him with a fire.

Moon with his back to the fire and trying to sleep in this rundown building asks "Are you still mad?"

Astro says "Of course not human. That would be foolish."

"Then what is your problem!" Moon demanded

"Like I want to remember. Like you want to know. Stay in your lane human." She stated

Moon gets up and grabs Astro by the collar.

He says "We are supposed to be partners. So either stop acting like this or talk about it."

Astro says "Is this how you make friends? Or is it because you don't have any that you have to force them to talk to you?"

Moon shouts "Who do you think you are!"

Astro says "A god."
