chapter thirty nine

Jenna laughs as she sways a bit catching herself by Alessia's arm. "Woah."

Alessia had to bite back a laugh at Jenna's drunken state. She's been losing at darts with Alessia because of her lack of sobriety and coordination.

"Let's get you back to your seat, yeah?." Alessia loops Jenna's arm through hers, Jenna wraps her other arm around Alessia's shoulders. "You're so much fun and really gorgeous, they really made European women different." Jenna chuckles her lips close to Alessia's face.

Jenna and Alessia used the time of the game to get to know one another and how Jenna came to be a guardian of Elena, how her parents died, Jenna's sister and her brother in law. In a tragic car accident that Elena only survived.

Alessia could relate to not having parents as her father was murdered and her mother dying or disappearing, don't know which though.

Alessia told Jenna where she was from, a town outside of Bulgaria. How her mother was known as the town witch in helping others and Jenna seemed intrigued by the fact of it, in her defense it was the alcohol and she probably won't remember.

But Alessia left out the magic part of explaining her mother to Jenna. Just made it seem like Alessia's mother was another woman who believed in nature.

Alessia walked up the steps in The Grill that led to the bar towards Damon and Kelly sitting at the bar.

"Damon, Damon. How did you let this one go?." Jenna squished Alessia's cheeks together.

Damon turned with his head tilted with a small smirk on his lips seeing Alessia's discomforted face by courtesy of Jenna. "I ask myself that everyday." He answers.

"Okay, let's get you seated." Alessia speaks through her squished cheeks. She walked Jenna to her bar stool sitting her down. "Water and food okay?." Alessia pats Jenna's shoulder.

"Oh, c'mon, stay have a drink." Kelly offers a shot to Alessia.

Alessia looked at the shot glass and then Kelly, she clearly didn't remember Alessia and what happened. "I'm good, thank you though." Kelly shrugs drinking the shot.

"You ladies have fun with this man." Alessia smiles at Kelly and Jenna, before she walked away from them. "And watch out he'll pinch your ass if you let him." She winks at Damon heading back to Stefan and everyone.

"Okay, now I want her." Kelly watches Alessia walk away from them. "Damon, if you don't get her back, I'll disown you." Jenna points a finger at him.

"Eh, she said she wanted us to move on at least we're on the level of being friends right now because of Stefan and Elena." Damon sips his bourbon watching Alessia walk back to Stefan.

Stefan gives a side hug to Alessia when she got back to the group. "I'd have that more than nothing." Damon mutters.

"Hey, so, what made you and your mom decide to stay in town?." Jeremy sits on the couch with Anna handing her a game controller.

"Oh, she got this business opportunity." Anna explains. "She's going to open up a little store it's always been her dream, So, yeah, we're staying." Anna smiles. "And I'm thinking about going back to high school. So you'll be seeing a lot more of me." The corner of Anna's lips curve to a smirk.

"Oh yeah?." Jeremy chuckles. "Enough of homeschooling. You know, I'd like to be a normal teen for once." Anna jokingly says. "But I have to ask my mom first. She'll have an opinion." She rolls her eyes at the thought.
