"I told you I'm not staying here while we wait for him." Alessia says to Pearl.

Pearl and Anna made a stop at the Salvatore home for Damon and Alessia already felt awkward as it is but also nervous.

Damon always made her nervous even back then, but now he's totally different with being a vampire. Alessia shrugged off her leather jacket feeling the warmth hitting her from the anxiety.

"You'll be fine, like you said you told him that you're not standing by him and he needs to move on." Pearl states.

"You haven't met Damon." Anna and Alessia say in unison. "He spent a century pining over Alessia because of what Katherine did." Anna adds on.

"I'm waiting in the car." Alessia puts her foot down, she gets up heading out of the living room towards the front door not paying attention.

She collides into Damon's chest making her stop dead in her tracks. Damon's hands steady Alessia from not falling over.

When their eyes met with one another, piercing blue eyes met anxious hazel ones. There it was the tension as Alessia's heart hammered against her chest.

Damon could smell the vanilla and sandalwood from Alessia. "You smell good." The first thing that Damon says. "Thanks." Alessia mutters.

"What are you doing here?." Damon asks. Alessia saw the softness but the hesitation behind Damon's eyes. "Um." Alessia points to where she came from. "Pearl and Anna."

Damon looked in that direction then back to Alessia and he looked at her for real this time, last time he saw her was in her nightgown wandering the woods.

But now she's in clothes that compliment her body and the shirt she had on was not helping where they stood with each other right now.

"Damon."

Pearl's voice interrupted the moment. Alessia steps back a bit turning back to Pearl. Damon wanted to curse Pearl but also the Gods who made Alessia, seeing her back to him now in the jeans she had on.

Damon had to walk away or he was going to do something that he knew Alessia would yell at him for later. He stepped down the stairs that led into the living room.

"Ever hear of knocking?." Damon asks Pearl. There he was back to his sarcastic self. "An invitation wasn't necessary." Pearl answers.

Damon looked at Pearl who stood up from the couch turning to look at Damon. "I'm surprised that no living person resides here." Pearl says.

"Is it just you and your brother?." Pearl asks. Damon shrugs with a smirk on his lips. "Yeah, how do you keep out unwelcome vampires?." Anna asks.

"Kill them." Damon says with a cocky attitude. Alessia gasped when she saw Damon use his speed and strength going at Pearl trying to choke her but Pearl is older and stronger.

Pearl didn't even flinch when putting her hand on Damon's wrist twisting it away. Alessia cringed when hearing Damon's bones crack in his wrist.

Damon struggled against Pearl's hold grunting in pain. "Damn." Pearl chuckles shoving Damon onto the couch. "Have a seat, Damon." Pearl smirks.

"I was hoping we could have a word." Pearl continues. Damon didn't really have a choice, he chose to get comfortable putting his arm around the back of the couch. "Sure." He answers.

Alessia was fighting with herself. Protect Damon or stand back and be on Pearl and Anna's side of things.

She already knew the answer but she just wanted to pretend she didn't. It was always going to be Damon even if she did say they should go their separate ways and find new people.
