Sage's POV

"Spin for me pretty girl."

Xan laid in the bed, nude (well the blanket was covering his waist), with his hands above his head. His eyes peered at me intensely waiting to see the outfit I was wearing for brunch with Rick.

With the roll of my eyes I give him a little spin. Today, I wore a flow white sundress with pretty little sunflowers around the ends. It was super cute and down to earth. Really pulled out that soft girl vibe I was going for. As for my hair, I've detangled it which was hell of course, and styled it to where I can wear it down and it not look unruly.

"I wanted to go for something simple for obvious reasons. You like?" I ask when I'm back facing him. Xan doesn't say anything at first, but his eyes—they're filled with appreciation.

"Sbalorditiva."  He rasps voice thick with his accent. It makes me all jittery with need almost instantly and I don't even know what it means. "Nothing you put on ever looks simple."

"Is that a good or bad thing?" I ask with a smile.

"Good for you. Bad for me and any other man that dares to look your way." Xan replies voice gruff.

"Easy there tiger. It's too early for you to already be in caveman mode." He acts like a damn guard dog at times. Like the next pursuing man is going to burst from the closet or something.

"It's almost eleven in the morning. That's hardly early." He argues like the smart ass he is. I wonder if it would still be hardly early if I killed him. Xan smirked at me like he knew he was irking my nerves.

"And yet here you are still in bed, butt ass naked." I rebuttal with my hands on my hips.

"Am I distracting you pretty girl?" He sends me a faux apologetic look.

"More like the urge of killing you is distracting me." I hear him gasp from behind me. Idiot. Ignoring him I spray on some perfume, before turning back around. I bristle immediately.

"Xan!" I squeal covering my eyes childishly like I don't shower with this man almost every night. "Put that thing away."

"Huh." He replies and I peak through my fingers. Yep, still naked. "I thought you two were on first name basis. I mean you didn't have a problem with him last night when you were moaning—"

"Don't." I cut him off. He laughs cockily at himself which does nothing but annoy me more. Man, sometimes I really do wonder how I ended up with a guy with an ego bigger than Jupiter.

"I'm leaving, you're annoying me." I mutter gathering my things quickly. Xan leans back resting his body weight on his elbows. The position gives me an eyeful of that monster that's for sure. I can't believe that entire thing was just in me last night. It's huge!

"For you to want me to put him away so badly, you sure are staring bellissima." He says forcing my eyes back to his face. Knowing I'm caught red handed, I decide to shrug rather than be embarrassed.

"It's mines to look at." I blink. He blinks back smirk on his face. Yeah, that's what I thought.  "Goodbye." I say walking out of the hotel room.

"Wait." He says and I hear him stand from the bed. Great. Now he's just swinging the monster around. "I need a kiss."

I stare at him blankly while he stands right in front of me. He turns pointing to his cheek and I sigh. "Fine." Gripping his chin, I place a kiss on the side of his face. When I pull away he turns and points to the other. Greedy ass man.

Greedy ass man that I can't say no to.

I kiss the opposite side of his face, meeting his smile head on. Then out of no where he leans forward connecting our lips directly. It isn't a sweet one like usual. It's sloppy and open mouthed and ridiculous. I squeal trying to push him off of me and he just laughs at all the chaos he's causing.
