"Im sorry"

Sages POV

I stir awake to the sound of a bowl dropping and footsteps in what sounds like my kitchen. Looking around the room I check the clock which says 7:30 before turning back around and deciding I should get more sleep.

Wait a second.

I jump out of bed careful to not make too much noise realizing that i live alone. Who the hells in my house. I think to myself before grabbing the baseball bat from behind my door and slowly making my way out.

I tip toe down the stairs before peeking around the corner. In the kitchen i see a broken glass bowl—- my favorite glass bowl. A certain blue eyed someone in my kitchen frantically looking for a broom to hide his mess.

"Niko what the fuck!" I screech throwing my baseball bat down and running over to him beating on his head. His eyes grow wide and he looks scared for his life.

He should be.

"I'm sorry shit." He says covering his face and stepping back from me clearly holding in a laugh. "I'll buy you a new one I swear." Looking at me nervously he holds his hands up as if I was the police.

Idiot.

"Why wouldn't you tell me you were coming? What if i would've knocked you out with my bat?" I say rolling my eyes and crossing my arms as he sweeps up the glass.

"Sorry babes I'll never do that again." He says cheesing at me like a cheshire cat. 

"Yeah sure." I say grabbing an apple taking a big bite.

"Soooo" Niko starts. I look at him expectingly sticking my tongue out at him.

"I have an idea." He says beaming like a little kid.

Childish ass.

I pick up my phone and pretend to call 911. "Yes guys theres a situation, my friend—- theres something wrong with him. He's actually thinking for once." I say dramatically into the phone causing Niko to pout.

"Ha ha so hilarious." He says before taking my apple and biting it.

"Hey that's min-"

"Shhh we should go clubbing tonight." Niko says cutting me off. How he's able to go out every night always seems to amaze me.

"Niko I've gotta meet up with Xan to sign the contract" i say shaking my head watching him enjoy my apple.

"Key word tonight." He says handing my apple back to me mumbling something about how green apples aren't good.

"You can keep it now." I say appalled. "And Niko you just went clubbing yest-"

"Come on Sage your always overworking yourself and it kills me to see you so stressed all the time. Plus its Saturday everyone is supposed to be stress free on Saturdays. What type of bestie would I be if I allowed my bestie to be stressed on a Saturday?" Niko rambles looking at me with begging eyes.

"Fine." I say reluctantly.

"Really? That's great you can invite your friend—-Kassidy was it? Yeah that's it! Invite her too you need more girlfriends. I gotta meet with Kevin for a date so gotta go. I'm so glad your getting out the house babes, love you bye." Niko rambles again rushing out the door.
