We were in class and as I walked out Horikita approached me.

"It's time to repay that favour. Follow me."

I followed her to the cafeteria where she put down two trays on our table. One for herself and one for me.

"Are you trying to bankrupt me? I mean it would take a while but this method would certainly work."

"Eat up. It's my treat."

I was suspicious.

'Did she poison it? No not possible. After all, I saw the lunch lady take our meals from the same place.'

I ate the food. It was delicious.

"Alright now for that favor. I want you to help me form study groups."

'That's a lot of trouble.'

"Alright fine."

"There are three students I want you to include."

"Sudo right?"

"Him, Ike and Yamauchi. They have the worst scores in the class."

"Well yeah. None of them really emanate the studious aura you do."

Horiktia smirked.

"Jealous?"

"No not really."

"Why do you care all of a sudden?"

"My placement in D-Class is certainly a mistake. However, there's nothing I can do about that so I'll just crawl my way up to Class A if that's what it takes."

'Is she really that competitive? No. I feel there's something else to it.'

"So the first step you're taking is rehabilitating the failures."

"Indeed."

She got up handing me a piece of paper with a string of numbers and an email.

"You can contact me using that. Only for things related to the study groups. Don't use it for anything else or I'll hang up on you."

'This is the way I get a girl's phone number for the first time? Pathetic.'

I stashed the number in my pocket.

'Well I'm not happy about it but a number is a number. Well now. Since I have no choice I might as well give it a try.'

I was lying in bed contemplating what had just happened.

'I went and asked each of them and as expected they all refused.'

[I met with Ike.

"Hey, Ike. Horikita is organising a study group. You should join us."

"No way man. I"ll just cram it before the exam."]

[I met with Yamauchi.

"You should join the study group in the library."

"Huh? Is Kushida or Karuizawa going to be there?"
