Island- Ayanokoji POV
Ike was rummaging through the supplies provided to us.
"Alright. Two Flashlights. Two Tents that can fit 8 people. They gave us one matchbox. They gave us sunblock and backpacks of amenities for everyone here."
Kushida seemed concerned.
"A whole week with just this much?"
"It's not that bad Kikyo-Chan. Don't worry. I'll keep you safe."
'So confident all of a sudden? An experienced camper?'
"Thank you so much Kanji-Kun."
Shinohara seemed to eye them closely.
'Hm. What's that all about?'
"Anyways where's the toilet?"
"Ah. Here it is. A basic toilet."
Ike took out a box and all the girls looked at it in horror.
'Is it really that bad? A tad unsanitary sure but they didn't seriously expect there to be a toilet installed on the island did they?'
"Gross! No way! We need a proper toilet."
"Hey come on. It's not even that bad."
A petite girl with pigtails tugged on Hirata's shirt. I believe her name was Mei-Yu Wang. She's a Chinese exchange student.
"Ano... Hirata-Kun. Can we please buy a portable toilet?"
Hirata took up the rule book and checked it.
"Alright. Guys we can buy it for 50 Exam Points."
Yukimura who was a boy with glasses and blue hair spoke up.
"Hirata. Women are too emotional. Don't appease their every whim."
Shinohara was clearly irritated.
"Just who do you think you are!?"
Ike spoke up.
"Hey, Yukimura's right! 50 points? That's way too much. We can just tough it out till the end of the exam."
The girls were outraged as Hirata looked at the boys.
"But the girls..."
Yukimura chimed in.
"We're still at the bottom with only 80 Class Points to our name. This is our chance to earn more Class Points. We can't waste 50 Class Points on a toilet."
Horikita spoke up. She was sweating from her forehead slightly.
"I agree with you Yuimura-Kun but there's no point in arguing about it. We'll put it to a vote. That's the only way to decide fairly."
'She says that but I'm sure she's not happy about it either. I think it's a case of I want to reach class A > I feel uncomfortable using the Basic Toilet.'
Voting began as Horikita managed the votes.
"Everyone who wants the toilet put your hand up."
Exactly 12 students most being girls put their hands up.
"Now for those who want to use the box."
Another 12 put up their hands. Horikita herself put up her hand as well. I refrained from voting. Horikita approached me grabbing my ear.
