Ayanokoji's Dorm Room
Hirata was stunned.
"Karuizawa-San!?"
"Indeed. She acted strangely when you asked if anyone knew something."
"I see."
"I'm going to try to call her now."
Kushida took out her phone dialing the number but she didn't pick up.
"She's not picking up."
Sudo got frustrated.
"And after we just got some good information."
Kushida spoke up.
"Don't worry I'll talk to her in person tomorrow."
"Well even if we got her to testify I don't know if she'd be of any help."
Sudo looked at her confused.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Horikita sighed.
"It's nothing. I'm leaving."
She left and soon so did everyone else except Kushida.
"Wanna take a walk Ayanokoji-Kun?"
We stepped outside walking as Kushida broached a question.
"Do you have any idea what Horikita-San was talking about earlier?"
"Well, I guess I have an idea. What she was saying was even if Karuizawa-San testified she might not be believed."
"Why?"
"Think about it this way. If a murder occurred and there were two suspects. One who's killed before and one who's a law-abiding citizen who would you believe?"
"I suppose the law-abiding citizen."
"Exactly. That's what happens when there is little to no evidence. The on's who seem more respectable are believed. Ishizaki isn't exactly the greatest guy you'll meet in this school but during his time here he hasn't had any major or even minor incidents. He's the more respectable party in the eyes of the school."
"So you're saying Sudo-Kun brought this on himself."
"I guess so."
"You really understand Horikita well don't you Ayanokoji-Kun?"
"I wouldn't say that entirely."
Kushida giggled before turning around.
"Kushida. I think it's time we both head back to our dorms."
We both headed back to the dorm as we took the lift and I stepped out. As soon as I entered my dorm I barred the door shut. Even with a duplicate key card, she won't be able to get in.

Karuizawa was leaving the classroom when Kushida approached her putting her hand on her shoulder.
"Hey Karuizawa-San. Could we talk for a bit?"
"Um... I'm a bit busy."
"It would only take a minute."
"I don't know anything. Leave me alone!"
