Cruise Ship- Nightfall- Ayanokoji POV

It was dark so I was heading back to my cabin when I spotted Karuizawa by herself.

"Um... Ayanokoji-Kun..."

'She clearly hasn't noticed me. Is she talking to herself?'

"... Would you like to go out with me?"

I walked over to her.

"It's getting a bit late. Maybe tomorrow."

"Eh!?"

She was shocked turning around.

"How long have you been there?"

"Not long. Where did you want to go by the way?"

She looked at me confused but then sighed in relief.

'What's with her?'

"How are you doing with talking with our classmates?"

"It ... it's getting easier."

"I glad to hear it. You should talk to other people and get to know them. Don't just stick with the people you're comfortable with."

"I don't know."

"If you ever feel like you're in danger just type J in our chat and I'll rush to your location. You should know. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm always here. I can help you. I mean even I can listen."

"Thank you Ayanokoji-Kun."

"It's nothing all that special."

Her face was a bit red as she looked at me. 

"Um... Ayanokoji-Kun..."

It seemed like she was going to ask me something when Kushida arrived.

"Hey guys."

Karuizawa shivered a little.

"Ah... I'm going to head back to my cabin."

She left in a hurry.

'Well though I did tell her to talk to other people it's probably best if Kushida isn't one of those people.'

"Maybe I should have stayed away?"

"Hm? I'm not sure. Karuizawa is always very shy around everyone. Even her close friends like Sato, Matsuhita and Shinohara."Kushida giggled.

'With the way she's acting now, it's easy to forget how she was that night.'

"I guess so but not with you huh?"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Are you some kind of dunce?"

Her facade dropped.

"She obviously has feelings for you. Honestly, how oblivious can you be?"

"I think that's a bit of a stretch. I'm nothing special after all."

"Well, you're right but you did save her from that stalker, right? She must have seen a good side of you from that. It's fucking annoying to see someone as oblivious as you."

"So that's how she feels about me."

"Yeah, you dumbass."

"Well, I'm not sure about my feelings towards her yet. We haven't spent enough time together."
