The group was lounging around after a long day, the atmosphere relaxed as they exchanged jokes and stories. Suddenly, Charles stood up, breaking the easygoing vibe with a dramatic flourish.

"Guys, I have news," Charles announced, his voice serious and commanding. The shift in tone caught everyone's attention, and they turned to look at him with a mix of curiosity and mild annoyance.

Carlos, who knew Charles all too well, immediately sensed that this was going to be something ridiculous. He raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "What is it now, Charles?" he asked, already bracing himself for whatever antics his boyfriend was about to unleash.

Charles placed a hand on his stomach, adopting a mock-serious expression that was almost convincing. "Carlos, I'm pregnant," he declared with a theatrical sigh.

For a moment, the room fell into stunned silence, everyone processing the absurdity of what had just been said. Then, as expected, Carlos burst out laughing, shaking his head in disbelief. "You're literally a dude, Charles," he retorted, his voice full of amusement. The other drivers exchanged glances, clearly intrigued to see where this was going.

But Charles was not one to be easily deterred. He kept up the act, his face now a picture of exaggerated sorrow. "Will you not be here to support our child?" he asked, his voice trembling with fake emotion. He even added a dramatic sniffle for effect, glancing around the room as if seeking sympathy. "I never thought you would be so cruel, getting me pregnant and then walking out."

Carlos squinted, his suspicion growing. "Wait... did you adopt someone again?" he asked, his voice a mix of exasperation and fondness. He knew Charles's slope for collecting "family members," and it seemed today was no different.

With a triumphant grin, Charles suddenly pulled Oscar closer by his arm, hugging him to his side like a proud parent. "Look how adorable he is! How could I resist?" Charles exclaimed, his eyes shining with mock parental pride.

Oscar, fully in on the joke, played along perfectly. He gave a little wave, trying his best to look as innocent as possible. "Hi, dad," he chimed in, his tone both playful and sweet.

Carlos sighed, though a smile was already tugging at his lips. "I can't believe this. How many kids do you plan on adopting, Charles?" he asked, his voice a mix of disbelief and amusement. He groaned theatrically, running a hand through his hair. "I didn't sign up for this."

Charles's expression shifted into one of mock offense, his frown deepening as he looked at Carlos. "What are you saying, Carlos? Are you leaving me and our child?" he asked, his tone laced with playful accusation.

Carlos tried to maintain his composure, but it was a losing battle. "But he isn't my child," he protested weakly, trying to find some logic in this ridiculous situation.

Charles gasped dramatically, clutching his chest as if deeply wounded. "Are you accusing me of cheating?" he shot back, his eyes wide with played indignation.

Oscar, fully committed to the bit, piped up in support. "Yes, dad, what do you mean?" he asked, his voice filled with mock innocence. The others in the room could barely contain their laughter, watching the absurd exchange unfold.

Carlos finally gave in, realizing there was no way out of this without playing along. He rolled his eyes, but the smile on his face betrayed his amusement. "Alright, alright," he conceded with a chuckle. "Welcome to the family, Oscar. I guess I'm a dad now too."

Oscar grinned widely, clearly enjoying every moment of the playful banter. The rest of the group erupted into laughter, the lighthearted moment.

Just as the laughter was starting to die down, George, who had been quietly observing the whole exchange with a smirk, suddenly spoke up. "Lando, you aware that this makes Carlos your father-in-law?" he said, his tone dripping with mischief.

The room fell silent for a moment as everyone processed George's comment. Then, as the implication of his words sank in, the laughter erupted all over again—this time even louder.

Lando, who had been chuckling along with everyone else, suddenly froze, his eyes widening in mock horror. "Wait, what?!" he spluttered, looking between Carlos and Charles with a mix of disbelief and amusement.

Carlos, catching on quickly, grinned wickedly. "That's right, hijo," he teased, emphasizing the last word with a playful smirk. "Better start treating me with some respect now."

Charles, never one to miss an opportunity, joined in, wrapping an arm around Lando's shoulders. "Welcome to the family, Lando!" he declared, his voice filled with exaggerated warmth.

Lando groaned, burying his face in his hands as the rest of the drivers erupted into laughter again. "I didn't sign up for this either," he mumbled, but the smile on his face betrayed how much he was enjoying the ridiculousness of it all.

The room buzzed with energy, everyone clearly enjoying the playful banter and the sense of family that had grown between them.
