After the chaos of the day and Seb's unexpected lecture, Alex and George retreated to their room, finally getting a moment of peace and privacy. The atmosphere was different now—calmer, more intimate, and tinged with the lingering embarrassment of being caught earlier.
George flopped onto the bed, covering his face with his hands. "I can't believe we got busted by Seb and Kimi of all people," he groaned, his voice muffled by his hands.
Alex chuckled softly as he sat down next to George, gently pulling his hands away. "I think Kimi was more amused than anything," he teased, leaning down to press a soft kiss to George's forehead. "And hey, Seb just cares about us. Even if he's a bit... intense about it."
George sighed, finally looking up at Alex. "Yeah, I know. But still, that was embarrassing."
Alex grinned, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Well, we're alone now," he said, his voice dropping to a lower, more playful tone. "And I don't see Seb or Kimi around to interrupt us this time."
George's lips curved into a smile as he wrapped his arms around Alex's waist, pulling him closer. "You're right about that." He tilted his head up, capturing Alex's lips in a soft, lingering kiss. The tension from earlier slowly melted away as they sank into each other's embrace.
They broke apart after a few moments, foreheads resting together, both of them breathing a little heavier.
"Do you think Seb's still going to be on high alert after tonight?" George asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Alex laughed quietly, brushing a stray lock of hair from George's forehead. "Probably. But it just means we'll have to be a bit more careful."
"Or quieter," George added with a playful smirk.
Alex raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "Oh? And how do you suggest we do that?"
George's smirk widened as he gently flipped them over, pinning Alex beneath him on the bed. "I have a few ideas," he murmured before leaning down to kiss Alex again, this time with more urgency.
The rest of the world faded away as they lost themselves in each other, the earlier embarrassment long forgotten. It was just them, in their own little world, making the most of the quiet moments they had together. The room filled with soft whispers, laughter, and the unmistakable warmth of two people completely in tune with each other.
