Johnny Settles Down

Once In Rome

Austria was fun. To Karen it was just like Germany, but in Rome Johnny acting weird. They had two days off, so Johnny took her shopping, He bought her a gorgeous dress, a pink dress. It was way expensive. "Johnny. No," she said. "Karen. Yes. I have somewhere we must go tomorrow and you must wear it." It was way fancy, but when he was in Rome during the summer, he had friends. Maybe she was going to meet them. He was being odd, like he didn't want to have sex and like he didn't want to be around her.  She wondered if  she were going to be sent home on a plane.    She wondered what she did wrong.    Their tour bus escapades were talked about. "What did you do to her, that moan was legendary,"Tommy said. However his tone changed. "Hey, I cannot wait for you to marry your wife," he told him. Little did she know the next day, in a private area of the hotel it was going to happen. She thought after the concert. He asked the band to be there and was going to have Kendal flown in.   He went to get Kendal with Sean.   

She was horny thar night. Johnny was too, but he lied and said, "I just feel nauseous. I think a bug is coming on. I don't want to get you sick.  Sean is going to take me to get some medicine and rehydrated."  He was actually throwing up.  He was so nervous.  He did not want to take the same mistake twice.  They got into the van and drove the airport.  Karen was up.  Karen was worried.   She paced the floor.   "Don't text him," she told herself.   When her ex fell ill, she always wished he would have died.   She wanted Johnny to be okay.  She prayed for him, even though he was atheist.   

    She would fall asleep here and there.   Little did she know, Johnny took her girl for something to eat.   He texted.  "It was something I ate.  I am on the mend, but the band has a meeting.   I will meet you to meet our friends at ten in The lobby."  She texted, "Okay."  He was being weird.   Little did he know, he snuck out with his Dior suit and had an appointment with a makeup artist.  He was really nervous.  Johnny got Kendall her room and told her to be down and he thought how she and Lily Rose would hit it off.  At nine thirty, Karen started to Geoff ready.   Johnny's shaving kit was gone.  That was weird.  She went down to the lobby wheee he rolled really good, almost too good, like in Cannes.  He had tears in his eyes. 

     "Johnny, if you are sick," she said. 
"Remember we had a talk?  We had a talk about getting married?"
"Well, yes."
"Today is your day."
"What ?"
"We're getting married today.  I want you to be my wife."

    She began to cry.  He said, "So, is that a yes."
"Of course, Johnny."
"Well, they are waiting." 

      He took her arm and walked in.  The room was full of love, and her love was there, Kendall.  She walked up to her and hugged her, and said, "Mom, go marry the love of your life."  She kissed her.  She saw the band members look at them with love.   Alice said, "Go.   Marry him.  Make the both of you happy."  She smiled.  She walked up to Johnny and fought back the happiest tears in her life as she said "I do" to a man she loved for a long, long time.....    Johnny finally had the love of his life, as she had hers and life was never the same again....,
