Annika's Office

Annika, arriving late and out of breath, met Miss Ahuja's disapproving gaze. She apologized hastily, still shaken from her earlier encounter.

Tanya's stern expression deepened as she said, "Annika, this is the tenth time in two weeks. You're aiming for a promotion, but your punctuality is unacceptable. No excuses now; prepare the meeting room immediately. Our client is arriving soon. Had you been on time, I could have reviewed your preparations. Now, you'll have to present directly. I won't risk losing this client due to your tardiness."

Annika heaved a sigh and placed her bag on her chair. She grabbed the project file and headed towards the meeting room. A few seconds later, Sneha and Ruhi entered the room.

In meeting room

"Annika, you said you were near the office, but you arrived a bit late," Ruhi asked as they began to arrange the meeting room.

"Yaar, Don't even ask," Annika replied, her voice tinged with frustration. "Ek bille ke vajah se mai late hogyi.(A cat caused the whole delay)."

"A cat?" Sneha inquired, "These are...interesting," she said, her voice filled with sarcasm. "But I'm not sureher eyebrows raised. "How could a cat make you late?"

"I'll explain during lunch break," Annika said, trying to brush off the topic. "Right now, let's focus on this client. Kya tum dono ko pata hai in logo ke baare main. (Do either of you know anything about them?)"

Sneha shook her head. "I haven't heard anything about the client, but I've heard they're quite picky. We'd better be prepared."

Ruhi nodded in agreement. "And I've heard they're also quite show-offy. They love to flaunt their wealth and taste."

Annika sighed. She knew this was going to be a challenge. She had spent countless hours perfecting the designs, but she was worried that the client might not appreciate them. She couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

Just as they were finishing up their preparations, Tanya entered the meeting room "The client is almost here," she said. "Make sure you're ready to impress. And remember, this is a big deal for the company. Don't let me down."

Tanya entered the meeting room, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. "The client is almost here," she announced, her eyes scanning the room. "Make sure you're prepared to impress. This is a big deal for the company. Don't let me down."

Annika nodded, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew the stakes were high. This was a chance to showcase her talent and secure a significant contract for the company. But she was also nervous about the client's reputation for being picky and show-offy.

As the client arrived, Tanya introduced Annika and her team. The client, a wealthy and eccentric woman named Mrs. Kapoor, surveyed the room with a critical eye. She seemed unimpressed by the minimalist decor, and her gaze lingered on Annika's casual attire.

"So, let's see what you have to offer," Mrs. Kapoor said, her voice dripping with condescension.

Annika took a deep breath and began her presentation. She explained the concept behind each design, highlighting the unique fabrics and techniques used. Mrs. Kapoor listened intently, her expression remaining neutral.

Finally, she turned to Annika. "These are...interesting," she said, her voice filled with sarcasm. "But I'm not sure if they're quite what I'm looking for."

Annika's heart sank. She had worked so hard on these designs, and she was devastated to hear such a negative response. But she knew she couldn't give up.
