As Annika stumbled out of the room, the weight of Tanya's betrayal still lingered, festering like an open wound. She had never felt so utterly disrespected and belittled in her life. Tanya's actions had pushed her to the edge, and now she was ready to take on anyone who dared to cross her path.

Vishal had instructed her to meet him at the backside of the hotel, a secluded spot where they could discuss the matter without prying eyes. Annika made her way there, her feet carrying her on autopilot as her mind seethed with anger and indignation.

Meanwhile, Vishal was already at the designated spot, taking a long drag on his cigarette as he waited for Annika to arrive. The nicotine was supposed to calm his nerves, but his mind was still reeling from Tanya's complaint. He heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the deserted alley and turned around to find Annika stumbling towards him.

Her gait was unsteady, and she almost lost her balance, making Vishal's eyes widen in concern. He took a step forward, his cigarette dangling from his lips, and wondered if she was drunk. Annika's eyes seemed glassy, and her movements were slow and labored. Vishal's first thought was that she must have had one too many drinks, but as he looked closer, he saw the fury still burning in her eyes.

"Annika, what's wrong?" Vishal asked, his voice low and cautious, as he tried to gauge the situation.

Annika didn't respond. She just kept walking towards him, her eyes fixed on some point beyond his shoulder. Vishal's gut told him that something was off, and he instinctively took a step back, his eyes scanning the surrounding area to ensure they were truly alone.

As Annika drew closer, Vishal could see the tension in her body, the coiled energy waiting to unleash itself. He knew he had to tread carefully, or risk getting caught in the crossfire of her anger. With a deep breath, he prepared himself for the confrontation that was about to unfold.

Annika's eyes finally locked onto Vishal's, and she stumbled to a stop in front of him. Her chest heaved with ragged breaths, and her words tumbled out in a furious torrent.

"You! You're in on this too, aren't you? You and Tanya, you're both against me!"

Vishal held up his hands in a placating gesture, but Annika was having none of it. She poked a shaky finger at his chest, her voice rising to a near-shriek.

"You're always taking her side, Vishal! You never listen to me, you never believe me! You're just like all the others, blind to Tanya's manipulations!"

Vishal's eyes widened in surprise, but he tried to remain calm. "Annika, listen to me-"

"No, you listen!" Annika's voice cracked with emotion. "You listen to me for once! Tanya's been playing games with me all day, and you're just going to sit there and let her get away with it?"

Vishal's expression turned stern. "Annika, I don't know what's going on, but you need to calm down. You're not making any sense."

Annika's laughter was harsh and mocking. "Not making sense? You're the one who's not making sense! You're the one who's always defending Tanya, always covering up for her mistakes!"

Vishal's face reddened, and he took a step forward, his voice firm. "Annika, that's enough. You're being paranoid and unreasonable."

Annika's eyes blazed with fury, and she spat out, "Unreasonable? You want to know what's unreasonable? It's Tanya's behavior, that's what! And you're just enabling her, Vishal! You're just as guilty as she is!"

Vishal's expression turned cold and calculating as he countered Annika's accusations. "Why am I guilty? I'm the boss, and Tanya simply carries out my orders. She's a loyal employee, unlike some people who refuse to follow instructions, even after being with the company for years."

Annika's eyes narrowed, her mind still sharp despite the haze of alcohol. She could read between the lines, and Vishal's words sent a shiver down her spine. She knew exactly what he was implying - that Tanya was not only obedient but also willing to do whatever it took to please him.

With a snarl, Annika lashed back, her words dripping with venom. "Oh, so it's about bootlicking and sleeping with the boss, is it? You'll only favor those who fawn all over you and those who are willing to compromise their morals for a promotion. The rest of us are just disposable, aren't we?"

Vishal's face turned beet red with anger, but Annika didn't back down. She took a step closer, her eyes blazing with fury. "You think you're above the law, don't you? You think you can just use and discard people like they're nothing? Well, let me tell you something, Vishal - you're not as powerful as you think you are. And one day, your true nature will be exposed."

The air was electric with tension as the two locked horns, their words hanging like a challenge between them. Vishal's eyes seemed to bore into Annika's very soul, but she refused to back down, even in her drunken state. She knew she had struck a nerve, and she was determined to see this through to the end.

Vishal's eyes gleamed with a mixture of anger and lust as he replied, his voice low and menacing, "Ah, Annika, being drunk makes you bold, doesn't it? I like this attitude of yours. You know, whatever you've said can be used against you, and you can be fired from the company. But I'll make you a deal - I won't fire you if you decide to sleep with me today. I'll forget about what happened today."

He took a step closer to Annika, his eyes locked onto hers, his voice dripping with insinuation. Annika's response was immediate and fierce.

"You'll fire me? Haan. I resign from your company. Monday, I'll send my resignation letter to you. Who wants to work with a jerk like you?" She spat on his toes, the gesture a clear sign of her contempt.

Vishal's face turned red with rage, his eyes blazing with a mixture of anger and desire. He had always wanted Annika, ever since she joined the company. But she had never given him the time of day, always discarding his advances and refusing to sleep with him, even when he promised to make her manager instead of Tanya.

But now, her behavior had ignited a deep-seated anger within him. It was no longer just lust; it was a desire to possess her, to break her spirit and make her submit to him.

As Annika turned to walk away, Vishal's hand shot out, grabbing her wrist and pulling her back towards him. His eyes burned with intensity as he hissed, "You think you can just walk away from me? You think you can disrespect me like this and get away with it?"

Annika's eyes flashed with defiance, but Vishal's grip on her wrist was like a vice. She knew she was in trouble, but she refused to back down. With a surge of adrenaline, she tried to wrestle her hand free, but Vishal's hold only tightened.

"Let me go, Vishal, otherwise you have to face severe consequences" she spat, her voice trembling with rage.

Vishal's smile was cold and calculating. "Oh, I'll let you go... eventually. But first, you're going to apologize for what you did. And then... we're going to settle this once and for all."
