Annika and Ishana wandered through the vibrant fairgrounds, their laughter echoed through the air. They sampled local delicacies, savoring the flavors of crispy chaat, sweet gulab jamun, and spicy pani puri.

Next, they headed for the thrill rides. Annika squealed with delight as they spun around on the Tilt-A-Whirl, their hair flying in every direction. Ishana giggled, her eyes shining with excitement.

After the ride, they strolled along the stalls, admiring handmade crafts and colorful textiles. Annika spotted a vendor selling personalized keychains and notebooks.

"Perfect!" Annika exclaimed. "These will make great gifts for my staff."

Ishana nodded, inspecting the items. "Thoughtful and practical. Your staff will appreciate it."

Annika and Ishana finalized their purchases, buying 45 personalized keychains and notebooks. They carefully placed the gifts in bags, eager to surprise the staff.

Annika's excitement was palpable as she grasped Ishana's hand, leading her to the giant Ferris wheel. "I can't wait to share the staff gifts, but first, let's enjoy this ride!"

Ishana nodded, and they joined the queue. Two charming boys behind them struck up a conversation, playfully flirting to pass the time. Annika and Ishana exchanged amused glances, indulging in the lighthearted banter.

As their turn arrived, they settled into a cozy cubicle, still giggling from the boys' witty remarks. The Ferris wheel began to rotate, and they savored the breathtaking views.

On the third round, the wheel halted, leaving them suspended at the peak. Annika seized the moment, her voice barely above a whisper. "Ishana, I have something important to share."

Ishana's curiosity was piqued. "What is it?"

Annika closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. "I'm dating Shivay."

The silence that followed seemed eternal. Annika opened one eye, searching for Ishana's reaction.

Ishana's voice was laced with surprise and a hint of amusement. "You're sharing this bombshell here, in the middle of the air? I can't even push you off!"

Annika smiled mischievously. "That's exactly why I chose this spot. We love each other, Ishana. Shivay's an amazing guy."

Ishana's expression remained thoughtful, her silence speaking volumes.

As Ishana remained silent, the Ferris wheel suddenly lurched back to life, breaking the tense moment. Annika smiled, relieved, and Ishana's expression softened.

"Ishana, talk to me," Annika urged, her voice gentle.

Ishana's eyes narrowed. "How long has this been going on?"

Annika hesitated before responding. "A few months."

"Months?" Ishana's voice rose. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Annika's hands clasped together. "I wanted to ensure it was serious, and I was scared of your reaction."

The Ferris wheel slowed, approaching the ground.

As they stepped off the ride, Ishana turned to Annika. "I am happy for you Annika that you found someone  but promise me one thing."

"Anything," Annika replied.

"Be cautious, Annika. You know nothing about his family or background."

Annika nodded thoughtfully, her mind whirling with Ishana's words. A nagging doubt resurfaced – Shivay had been cryptic about his family and background. All she knew was that he bore the Oberoi surname and worked at the Oberoi headquarters.
