The energy of the sky rules the wind, clouds and rain. The sky's energy reached the earth and created a vast form of power. This energy was embodied in a lake called Somtal.

Somtal

A kingdom was established around the lake. The name of the kingdom was Somapura, due to the massive lake it had.

Yeh wo aasmani shakti hai jo tabh prakat hui jab Bhagwan bhakto ki bhakti aur mann ki shuddhta se prasann hue. Unhone apne bhakto ko yeh shakti vardaan mai di.

(This energy emerged from the sky when the God became happy because of the devotees' prayers and purity of mind. He granted this energy as a boon to the devotees.)

Humans who had the power to control this great energy were called mages. The mages were blessed by the gods of the sky to control the great energy. They formed an association which came to be known as Soma Sangha, where, they learned, trained and researched about this new energy.

(Soma Sangha is the name of the mage association.)

Yeh kahani hai jaadu ki, jaadugaro ki aur Soma Sangha ki - ek aisa sthaan jiska na itihaas ke panno mai koi ulekh hai aur naa hi kisi nakshe mai.

(This is a tale about magic and the mages of Soma Sangha - a place that does not exist in any history book or map.)

Soma Sangha ke sansthapak, Devendra, ek laute sheersh jaadugar the jiske baare mai log jaante the.

(The founder of this association, Devendra, was the first and only arch mage that the people witnessed.)

Devendra

He was the only one who could harness the power of Somtal. Handling the power of Somtal was no ordinary feat. Not everyone could handle this immense energy but he was a extraordinary mage who could do so very easily.

300 varsh guzar jaane ke paschaat bhi unke jaisa koi nahi tha. Jaadugaro ka jaadu kamzor padne laga tha aur sab ko intezaar tha toh bas ek naye sheersh jaadugar ka.

(300 years have passed since then but there was no one like him. The magical powers of the mages was getting weakened and everyone was waiting for a new arch mage to appear.)

Due to the blessings of the Gods, a selected few children in Somapura were blessed with inherent magical powers since birth in every generation. They were trained since childhood to become the protectors of their kingdom. The children of the royal family were especially blessed with stronger magical powers since birth.

Somapura was an exception where the mages were employed in the army as protectors but in other kingdoms, mages acted as chief royal advisors and teachers. One such kingdom was Kshatra Gadh. The people of Kshatra Gadh were not blessed with powers like Somapura so they had to rely on physical power of their army for protection, which was actually the case for most of the kingdoms. Kshatra Gadh was also a powerful and enormous kingdom but it was not as strong as Somapura. Kshatra Gadh and Somapura were the biggest empires of the sub continent and had friendly relations. But there were many other kingdoms who were not happy with this relation and whatever they were planning, it was definitely not good for anyone.

But who is this Laxita? How is she related to both the kingdoms? The powers of Soma Sangha are weakening, are they in danger? Who is the enemy they should be wary of?
