A/N bees claustrophobia is based of the actual TFP seres becas if you look close bee hates being in the base he always wants to go racing or out with raf also always scouting or just taking a drive. plus during the episode operation bumblebee when he loses hit T-cog he almost desperately wanted to get out of the base even if he couldn't transform so just something i noticed that would make the story better.

optimus pov:

My spark aced to hear what he had been though. to be held captive for so long and I was sure the cons weren't giving him as much energon as they should. then a thought struck me. he had been held in a small room unable to leave and we were doing the exact same thing no wonder he wanted to leave so bad. then to have to watch our wounded solders come back it must have been painful to him. "how did you get onto the battlefield we found you at" I asked him I had always wondered that. "I had been taken very far away from my town and was taking that rout to get back when. bam explosion and I'm here" he said looking away. "I guess it wouldn't have mattered if I made it there or not" I must have reminded him of his town. it was just another thing to add to the pain. 

"did kickback teach you how to fight" I try and change the subject. "yes every day until he joined the all spark" kickback had been one of my close friends but I had never known how he actually died. "I know you want to know how...... we were in the city when the cons flew down and attacked demanding all autobots. sire had told us to hid and I made it to a spot but aquabeam had been taken and my carrier tried to save her and my sire but instead I watched as they blasted a hole though her spark chamber then as they tore me sister in half and then pulled my sires head off" he said looking down. colent had begun to leak from his optics he would never forget this. I placed my servoro on his shoulder making him flinch slightly. I could feel the pain coming off him. 

B-127 had been though so much. he needed someone to be there for him not just as a friend but someone to look up to a sire figure and I was going to be that bot. I pulled back I had gotten though to him but there was more and I wouldn't learn it right now but there is still something I could do to make him feel better. I remembered one of the older customs from the start of this war. a bot would take one of the younger bots as there appreciate. It was mostly used to recruit more autobots but I thought it might help him. I saw great potential in him and was determined not to let it got to waste even if he wasn't a autobot. "B-127 would you like to be my apprentice"

he looked up at me he knew what it was. He was visible shocked and I get why. "B-i-w I'm not even a autobot" he steamers. I smile kindly at him hopeing it will help. "Because I see great potential in you" he looked at me for a second. "It would be a honer" he looked so hopeful. "Let's head back to camp" I say and walk out of the cafe and start heading back to camp.

Bumblebees pov:

I was Optimus primes apprentice. A PRIME for frags sake. I thought about escaping but quickly pushed the thought out of my mind not now. I couldn't wait to get back to camp and tell highfire he was going to be so excited. I know that the custom was normally used to recruit new autobots and ha may eventually try to buy for now I was just a neutral that just got apprenticed to a prime. I walked back into the camp and looked around for highfire. I spotted him with rainshot and Cascade. I walked over to tell them about the great news. "Highfire guess what" I said walking up to the group. "B-127 I thought you made another break for it I was about to tell Optimus" I laugh at this. "It wouldn't have mattered if you did I was just on patrol with him"

They looked stunned probably because I was just let out of the camp. "You got out of the camp with PRIME" rainshot exasperated. "Why were you with him on a patrol You're not even a autobot" highfire added. "Yeah that's what I said and apparently I'm now I'm his apprentice" I explained to them the were beyond shocked at this point. "Lucky wait isn't that what bots do to recruit" Cascade added on to. "Yeah maybe but I don't think he wants to not yet at least" they looked at each other. "So are you going to become a autobot" I laugh. "Me the runaway neutral. a autobot never" they look slightly disappointed but laugh too. "So what are you going to do" I shrug I honestly have no idea but it going to be awesome. "I don't know but it going to be with a prime so it has to be great"
