Ratchets pov:

Cascade and rainshot cam crashing into the med tent. "What the frag it's 12 at night" I yelled angrily. "Bumblebee and highfire have been captured" rainshot burst out and my rage instantly dispersed. "Ratchet we have to hurry they could be anywhere by now" Cascade said fear showing though his optics. "We must hurry and tell Optimus Cascade you go rainshot tell me what happened" I instructed and Cascade ran back out of the tent. Rainshot faced me her optics glazed with coolant but not letting it flow over. "I couldn't sleep and neither could bee so we went out when we met highfire and he was trying to apologize but they fainted before they could finish a femme named viper and her sister airacnid ambushed us and I couldn't stop them" she said her legs quivering under the weight and pressure of the situation.

"We will get them back but we must find them first" I replied running out of the tent with her following close behind. I spotted Optimus across the camp. I ran to him and we gave a quick nod before we ran to the only computer in the camp. I quickly searched for there life signals. "No" I said stumbling back. "What is it ratchet" rainshot said worry making her voice heavy with emotion. "There in kayon the decepticon capital" I responded. That was the hardest and most heavily guarded place on Cybertron. "How are we supposed to get them back" Cascade said leaning his weight on a jagged piece of scrap beside him. Optimus stepped forward "we do not have the numbers to invade the capital and we have no way in without being spotted and taking a stealth mission would take to much time away from the time they still have left they are in there own and we must pray to Primus that they will make it out"

bumblebees pov:

I looked up in fear at highfire completely under the control of viper. ::highfire please, please come back:: I whimpered as I hung over the smelting pit. viper had disappeared out of sight leaving me and highfire with the terrible command. We locked optics for what seemed like forever as we grasped each others servos struggling to keep hold. I looked up at him pleading for him to come back. He cold crimson red optics closed shutting them tight "i-i ............... will...... save you"  he struggled out and his optics reopened to big blue ones. They seemed brighter than ever glowing in the flames of the smelting pit but they were undampened by the fury of the flames. He grunted as he struggled pulling me up pushing against the ground. he pulled me all the way up. once he was finished he shook his helm but we didn't have the time. ::we have to hurry or viper will leave in the ship:: I yelled running after viper pulling highfire along with me but it was to late. The ship was already high in the sky rising fast leaving us stranded in the middle of con territory. 

::no:: I gasped as I saw it fade into the distance. I looked back at highfire who was wildly looking around for another way. "There escaped pods" he shouted pointing to a small building. I gave a quick nod before running toward it. We reached them but there was only one left. U looked around inside it there would only be room for one of us. ::there's only room for one well have to find another way out:: I said turning back around to him. I watched as the angry cons began to storm after us. Highfire turned to me hope and determination shining in his optics but also a glance of sadness. He slowly walked forward pulling me into a tight hug. At first I resided but something inside me told me not to. I hugged him back for what seemed like it lasted a eternity. He pulled away casting a quick look over his shoulder before turning to lead me to the pod. I was confused, we needed to run why wasn't he. ::highfire what are you doing we have to run:: I said pushing back on him as the cons closed in on us.

 "Bumblebee I want to thank you, thank you for pulling me up and making me have hope to keep going your my best friend" he said his optics glimmering with a bittersweet glow in them. I knew what he was going to do. I took a glance back at the pod, if he wanted me to get in I wouldn't be able to stop him. ::highfire please we can find another way out I won't leave you:: I begged trying to stop him from moving me backwards. "its ok bumblebee you made a sacrifice for me its only fair for me to return the favor" he said his optics growing soft as my fear increased. ::no I won't leave you I promised I wouldn't please don't do this you'll die please:: I begged but it was no use. I was pressed up against the inside of the pod unable to get out. "its ok I know I'm going to die but if that means you'll live than so be it" he said slowly reading the pod. I couldn't move trapped by fear but I finally reached out grabbing his servo. ::please I need you:: I begged again grasping his servo tight.

 "I know but I need to see you alive more" he responded his optics shining brighter than the sun itself soft and full of love and happiness. There was no fear in his optics and he stood strong. "Tell rainshot I love her" He said trying to pull away but I wouldn't let him go. ::tell her yourself:: I said pulling him closer. Instead of resisting he gave in and hugged.... me....one....last.....time....... "Bumblebee thank you for everything" he said and pulled away fast enough so I couldn't react in time. ::no:: I wimperd. He looked at the console beside him looking back me one finally time. "Thank you" he said and slammed his fist down in the button making the door to the pod close. I tried to get out before it closed but I was to slow. It launched off slowly rising into the sky. No I wanted to stay I wanted to help why had he done that we could have found another way out.  I watched as highfire bravely stood in front of the cons as they jumped at him. They were just about to collided when, black, my vision clouded with the smoke from the war.

I watched as the smoke vanished into the distance as my pod carried me back toward the camp. I felt the coolant start to leak down my face and I hung my helm but only for a moment. I looked back up string and determined to honor him. I looked up to the sky to she the simmering white stars. ::Highfire thank you for all that you have done for me may your spark rest in peace:: I whispered to myself letting my gaze focused on the stars as they flashed before me. And there I made my promise. ::I will never cower away in fear.as I face q threat I will face it with bravery and determination just like you did I will protect my friends no matter the cost:: I said taking my vow. 'But I'm so sorry I couldn't save you'
