Twenty-eight hours later, Venus was on Earth, just to let everyone know she was alive and feeling better. . . She spent a day with the family before they all returned to Hell, just to keep an eye on Venus further. . . Well, except Bruce and Tony who decided to stay in case Peter needed them.

Peter hugged his mom extra tight before he would let her go through the portal, with the promise to be safe.

Hell was in shambles.
It was evident as the large group found themselves standing in the lobby of the rebuilt Hazbin Hotel.

Two familiar forms sat at the bar laughing, though Husk's eyes widened when he looked between the two to see the group all there after several days of silence.

Both Angel Dust and Charlie were about to open their mouths to question what Lilith and Valentino were doing together in the hotel before Venus stepped forward and began clapping slowly.

The laughing ceased as both turned around, confused, before going wide eyed.

“Congratulations! As far as attempts on my life go, the two of you were almost successful! . . But seeing as you weren't successful. . . There are consequences, and I get to be the one to dish them out. Yay!” Venus fake cheered.

Lilith then stood and smacked Valentino upside the head. “You said she'd fucking die, you incompetent cockroach!”

“Don't hit me, bitch! She was supposed to die!” Valentino grumbled.

“Well she OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T!”

“Mom. . .” Charlie trailed off, looking between Lilith and Venus. “Why would you. . ?”

Lilith paled, as if just noticing that Charlie and Lucifer stood in the group behind Venus. She took a step towards them but Venus stepped in front of her, blocking the two from her field of vision.

“So we could be a family again, Charlie.” Lilith ground out in an irritated manner, looking around Venus to get a look at her daughter.

“This abomination was supposed to die. . . So I could have my husband back. . . So I could have my daughter back. . . But she just won't get the hint. I was hoping the overgrown cicadas plan would work so I didn't have to do this. . . But I'm left with no choice.”

Lilith smirked as the ground shook.
“You wouldn't believe the souls here that hate everything about this homewrecking bitch, all because she killed them.”

“Lilith, ENOUGH! Venus only fixed what you broke.” Lucifer stated angrily, pulling Venus towards him protectively.

The woman laughed maniacally. “Oh, Lucifer. . . If you stand with her, you better be prepared to fight.”

“No need. I killed them once for messing with my family, I'll kill them again myself.” Venus chuckled, feeling her magic wash over her like a warm hug as her outfit changed.

“You don't have to do this alone, sister.” Loki said, holding his hand out as if he were going to conjure a dagger.

Venus held her hand up. “Trust my rage, Loki. . . If nothing else, trust my rage.”

She smiled at Lilith. “I won't kill you because you're Charlie's mother and Lucifer's first love. . . But I leave your fate in their hands. . . That's mercy compared to the Hell Valentino will go through once I end this once and for all.”

(Fight scenes are long and boring but it was badass and Venus absolutely slayed, as per usual, despite still partially healing. Mwah.)

“They never learn.” Venus tutted, staring down at the bodies of the people that she had now killed twice, littering the entire hill up to the hotel doors.

Pietro nudged a body with his foot and looked over at Venus with one of his hands on his hip, the other pointing down at the body with the decapitated head sitting right next to it. “Wasn't this one of the ones that kidnapped Peter?”

Venus meandered over and hummed thoughtfully. “Looks like it. Knew he'd end up down here. . . Shame I had to kill him double dead.”

Natasha and Wanda joined their side and stared down at the former HYDRA scientist.
“Hell made him uglier.” Wanda frowned, cooking her head to the side.

“It's wrong to talk ill of the dead.” Steve preached, dragging the fours attention away from the scene.

Venus snorted. “Oh, grow up Steven. We're in Hell, everyone's dead except for the team. . . Technically.”

The outdoor area went silent and everyone stared at each other awkwardly for a moment. “So. . . Who wants sandwiches?”

“What about the slutty moth in there?” Natasha questioned.

Venus shrugged. “I'll take care of him later.”

When Venus had entered, Lilith was gone — Lucifer had allegedly banished her from Hell because he had the power to.

Valentino tried to run back to the Vees Tower, but was ultimately unsuccessful. . . It seemed he had an ‘unsuccessful streak’ going on.

Venus took care of Valentino after she made everyone sandwiches for dinner. He was handled while they were eating — and no one would ever hear from him again. . . Not that they knew that.

She ate once everyone else had and eventually went up to her room, where Lucifer was sitting comfortably on her bed. “You're gorgeous covered in blood. . . Even without the blood, I love looking at you.” He admitted, watching as she took off her bloodied suit in front of her bedroom mirror.

It wasn't anything he hadn't seen before.

“Is that so?” She asked with a slight smile, dropping the offending fabric to the floor before taking off her bra and walking into the bathroom to shower so she wouldn't climb into bed with blood in her hair.

Lucifer hummed in confirmation as the shower turned on and he heard Venus get in.

Half an hour later when she came out, he was still sitting on her bed, but she was wearing night clothes. It wasn't too late in the evening — barely 9:00 p.m., but she was tired.

“It makes me happy to hear that you think I look stunning with or without the blood of my enemies drying on my skin.” Venus admitted, climbing into her bed and getting comfortable beside Lucifer.

“Are you happy?” He asked, watching for a reaction.

“Yes,” she smiled. “I'm happy. . . As long as you don't wish to leave my side, I am more than happy to stay by yours for as long as you'll have me.”

Lucifer kissed her sweetly and pulled her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her. “Looks like we're on the same page.”

He hesitated for a moment. “Venus, I lo—”

“— I know.” She cut him off. “I heard you talking to my mother while I was unconscious. . . I'm very new to all of this, but. . . I love you too, Lucifer.”
