Ahem. Don't think too deeply about the character choice. I just wanted to draw them in Hua Cheng and Xie Lian's clothes. Technically China should have the eye patch, but I feel that North should be Xie Lian, since he has the whole Taoist thing going on (no alcohol, no sex, etcetera).
One of my favourite stories, I really need to watch the donghua. I think my favourite moment was when Xie Lian started asking questions out loud to himself, then once the random stranger (San Lang <3) answered them, he proceeded to interrogate him, invite him home, then sleep in bed with him. Me.

Another edit: Also also the scene where Xie Lian is like 'You can stab me, it's okay, I won't die,' and he's ready to let the people basically torture him so they'll survive is so North. Like, really North. You'll see.
