Two days had passed since their date, but Sanemi's mind was still replaying the evening over and over. He hadn't felt this kind of nervous excitement in a long time, and it left him with a strange mix of emotions that he wasn't entirely sure how to handle.

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and Sanemi found himself at home, sprawled out on the couch, his phone resting on his chest. The house was unusually quiet for once, Genya was out with his friends. Normally, Sanemi would take advantage of the peace to catch up on homework or chores, but today, his mind was elsewhere.

He kept thinking about Giyuu—how their date had ended with that quiet walk and the way Giyuu had looked at him when they'd talked on that bench. It had been... nice. More than nice, actually. It had been one of the best evenings Sanemi could remember having in a long time.

As he lay there, his phone buzzed softly against his chest, snapping him out of his thoughts. He picked it up, his heart doing a little leap when he saw Giyuu's name on the screen.

Giyuu: Hey. What are you up to?

Sanemi's lips curled into a smile as he quickly typed out a reply.

Sanemi: Just being lazy, not much going on. You?

The response came almost immediately, and Sanemi found himself sitting up, anticipation buzzing in his veins.

Giyuu: Same here. Was thinking about you, actually.

Sanemi's smile widened, his heart skipping a beat.

Sanemi: Oh yeah? Good thoughts, I hope.

Giyuu: Of course. Was wondering if you wanted to do something today?

Sanemi didn't even have to think about it. He was already reaching for his shoes, his mind racing with possibilities of what they could do. Maybe another walk, or they could catch a movie, or even just hang out and talk again. It didn't really matter to him, as long as he got to see Giyuu.

Sanemi: I'm in. What did you have in mind?

A moment passed before Giyuu's reply came through.

Giyuu: How about we go to that park we passed on our walk the other night? It looked nice, and we could grab some coffee on the way.

Sanemi couldn't help but think that sounded perfect. Simple, relaxed, and most importantly, it meant more time with Giyuu.

Sanemi: Sounds like a plan. I'll pick you up in 20?

Giyuu: I'll be ready.

Sanemi quickly got himself together, pulling on a jacket and running a hand through his hair to make sure it wasn't too much of a mess. As he grabbed his keys, he felt a flutter of nervousness—an odd feeling for him, considering how confident he usually was. But something about Giyuu had a way of making him feel... different.

When Sanemi pulled up in front of Giyuu's place, he couldn't help but feel a sense of deja vu from their date. Giyuu was already waiting outside, dressed casually in a simple sweater and jeans, yet somehow managing to look effortlessly handsome.

Sanemi got out of the car to greet him, and when Giyuu smiled at him, that shy but warm smile, Sanemi felt the same rush of warmth he'd felt two days ago.

"You look good," Sanemi said, trying to keep his tone casual, though he knew there was a hint of something more in his voice.

Giyuu's cheeks tinted a faint pink as he ducked his head slightly. "Thanks. You too."

Sanemi opened the passenger door for Giyuu again, something he found himself enjoying more than he'd expected. There was something oddly satisfying about those small gestures, like he was showing Giyuu that he cared in ways that didn't need words.
