The next morning arrived with soft sunlight streaming through the thin curtains, casting a golden hue over the room. Giyuu blinked awake, his body still pressed close to Sanemi's, feeling the warmth of his presence against him. It was an unfamiliar but not unwelcome sensation, waking up like this—wrapped in someone's arms, their breathing soft and steady. Giyuu shifted slightly, only to feel Sanemi tighten his hold around him, clearly still asleep but instinctively pulling him closer.

Giyuu felt the corner of his mouth twitch upward. Sanemi, always so brash and tough, clinging to him in his sleep like this... it was kind of adorable.

He tried to ease himself out of Sanemi's grip, not wanting to wake him, but the moment he moved, Sanemi groaned, his voice rough from sleep.

"Where do you think you're going?" Sanemi muttered, his eyes still closed as he tightened his arm around Giyuu's waist.

Giyuu chuckled softly, amused by how Sanemi seemed determined to keep him in bed. "I thought I'd let you sleep in peace," he said, trying to keep his tone light, though his heart skipped a beat at the intimacy of their position.

Sanemi cracked one eye open, a smirk tugging at his lips. "And leave me to wake up alone? Not happening." He rolled onto his back, stretching his arms overhead with a groan, before giving Giyuu a lazy grin. "Besides, I'm not done with you yet."

Giyuu raised an eyebrow, both amused and slightly exasperated. "Oh? And what do you have in mind?"

Sanemi laughed, the sound still low and a bit raspy from sleep. He reached over and tugged Giyuu back down onto the bed, playfully rolling him over so Giyuu was on top. "Well, we could start the morning like we ended last night... if you're up for it."

Giyuu felt his face warm at Sanemi's words, but there was a playful edge to them, a teasing glint in his eyes that told Giyuu Sanemi wasn't pushing. They both knew last night had been intense, emotional even, and Giyuu wasn't entirely sure how to process it yet. But for now, he could play along.

He leaned down, brushing his lips lightly against Sanemi's ear, enjoying the way Sanemi's body tensed beneath him. "Maybe later," he whispered, his voice low and teasing. Then, with a quick movement, he rolled off the bed, leaving Sanemi blinking up at him in surprise.

"Tease," Sanemi grumbled, though there was a hint of laughter in his voice. He propped himself up on one elbow, watching Giyuu with an appreciative gaze as he moved around the room, grabbing his clothes. "You know, if you keep walking around like that, I'm gonna get ideas..."

Giyuu glanced over his shoulder, pulling his shirt on with a smirk. "Ideas, huh? Haven't you had enough for one night?"

Sanemi sat up, the sheet sliding down his chest, revealing the muscles Giyuu had gotten quite familiar with last night. "There's no such thing as enough when it comes to you," Sanemi said, his tone more serious than Giyuu had expected, the intensity in his eyes causing Giyuu's stomach to flip.

But Sanemi quickly lightened the mood, throwing the sheet off and standing up in one swift movement. "Come on, breakfast won't make itself. And if we don't show up soon, Mitsuri's gonna come knocking, and I don't think either of us want her to start asking questions about why we're still in bed together."

The mention of Mitsuri made Giyuu chuckle. "You're probably right about that." He glanced out the window, realizing how late in the morning it was. "I'm surprised she hasn't already come by."

Sanemi pulled on his pants, giving Giyuu a knowing grin. "That's because I told her we needed a little 'alone time' last night. She's probably being nice and giving us space."

Giyuu shook his head, still finding it hard to believe that Mitsuri was in on their dynamic. "She's too curious for her own good."

"Yeah, but she means well," Sanemi said, walking over and nudging Giyuu lightly with his elbow. "Now, come on. Let's grab something to eat before I give you more of a reason to stay in bed."
