The sun was beginning to set as the group gathered on the grassy hill outside their favorite café, the soft golden light casting a warm glow over everything. Tengen, ever the center of attention, reclined on the grass, his arms behind his head, a sly grin tugging at his lips.

"So, what's the latest, Tengen? We haven't heard much about your love life lately," Mitsuri teased, her pink hair catching the light as she leaned in with eager curiosity.

Obanai, sitting beside her, rolled his eyes but couldn't hide his smirk. "Yeah, spill it. You've been unusually quiet, which is never a good sign."

Sanemi sat nearby, picking at the grass absentmindedly. He wasn't particularly interested in love stories, but the way Tengen's grin widened made him pause. This was going to be good.

"Well, since you're all so desperate to know," Tengen began, feigning nonchalance, though his eyes sparkled with mischief, "I had a date with Kyojuro the other night."

Mitsuri's eyes widened, and she let out a little squeal. "Oh my gosh, Tengen! I knew it! You've been crushing on him for ages!"

Obanai smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned back against a tree. "Did you finally confess, or did you just dazzle him with your... flamboyance?"

Sanemi snorted, unable to resist a chuckle at that. Tengen's ego was something of legend, but the guy did have a way of charming everyone around him.

Tengen sat up, his grin growing even wider. "Confess? Who do you take me for, Obanai? Of course, I confessed! It was a date, after all. We went to that fancy restaurant downtown—"

"The one with the fountain and all the flowers?" Mitsuri interrupted, practically bouncing with excitement.

"That's the one," Tengen confirmed with a nod. "We had dinner, talked about a bunch of things—his favorite training techniques, his favorite foods, the usual. But then, as we were walking back to his place, I just knew the moment was right."

Sanemi raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself. "So, what did you do?"

Tengen's grin turned almost shy—a rare sight. "I kissed him."

Mitsuri clapped her hands together, her eyes sparkling. "No way! And what did he do?"

"He kissed me back," Tengen replied, a hint of pride in his voice. "It wasn't just a peck, either. He really went for it, you know? Full-on passion."

Obanai laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "That's Kyojuro for you—always going all in, even with a kiss."

Sanemi couldn't help but smirk. "Guess he's as loud about his feelings as he is about everything else, huh?"

Tengen chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "You could say that. But it was... nice, you know? I've never met someone who matches my energy like he does. It's exciting."

Mitsuri sighed dreamily. "I'm so happy for you, Tengen. You two are going to be amazing together. I can just see it!"

Obanai nodded in agreement, though his gaze shifted to Sanemi, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "You know, Sanemi," he began, his tone casual but laced with intent, "it wouldn't hurt to take a page out of Tengen's book."

Sanemi frowned, not catching the hint. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Obanai smirked, tilting his head slightly. "I'm just saying, you've been spending a lot of time with Giyuu lately. Maybe it's time to be honest with yourself about what you're feeling."

Sanemi's face flushed slightly, and he scowled, looking away. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Mitsuri giggled, nudging him playfully. "Oh, come on, Sanemi! We've all seen the way you look at Giyuu. It's okay to admit you like him."
