Chapter 7

"I ........... shouldn't have treated you like that. I shouldn't have threatened you and blackmailed you with your friend's life. I promise you I won't hurt him. " Boun was getting it all out of his system now, he didn't even know when you realized in your head that he shouldn't have gone that way.

From his work he was used to dealing with people, bribing, threatening, the mafia world was like that, but relationships didn't work that way. You can't force a man to fall in love with you. And since when did he want Omega to fall in love with him? Originally, he just wanted to play with him, he was attracted to his looks, and now we're talking about a relationship. Maybe Ohm was right, he needed someone by his side, but he never wanted to admit it.
Boun had gotten everything he wanted out of that Omega a while ago, but suddenly it wasn't the same. He didn't want a broken Omega by his side. He actually liked that Prem wasn't submissive. There were plenty of people who kowtowed to him, but as a life partner by your side, you should choose someone who can stand up to you as well. If you force someone to be with you, it's not real and never will be.

The two stood there now facing each other, Boun moved first to wipe and wash them both down after what they had done here together. Prem was still watching him, and when they were both back dressed and clean, he only spoke.

"Am I really supposed to believe you're apologizing to me for the way you acted?" Prem was now leaning against the sink looking at Alpha in front of him who had just dried his hands and now walked over and took Prem's hand gently and placed it on his chest.

" I understand that you don't trust me and I don't blame you. You know who I am, I'm sure you've heard many rumors about my person and I can assure you that most of what is told is true." Boun uttered and Prem looked at him thoughtfully but said nothing.
Boun continued.

" Pao, please accept my apology, I will prove to you that I can be good too. I need you. I don't want you to be just my lover, but I want you by my side. " Boun took a deep breath.
"Prem Warut, would you consider my offer to give me a chance and become my boyfriend?" Boun asked, and for the first time in his adult life he found his stomach clenching with fear at his answer.

Prem was now listening to all the words the Alpha had said, but he still couldn't understand.

" You...... you want me to be your boyfriend? Do you want to date me, like a real relationship?" Prem shook his head in incomprehension.

" Are you telling me that I should forget all the hardships, that you have gone from being a mobster to a good nice guy from one minute to the next, that I should start dating? Are you really serious? You have a huge fan base around you, people who worship you like a hero for being a mobster, and I'm a person who doesn't like you just by virtue of being in the mafia. Not only are you in the mafia, but you're leading the gang. " Prem uttered in all seriousness.

There was silence and the two just looked at each other Boun now gathered all his courage to speak.

"Prem I know what happened to your family. And I know you hate the mafia because you blame them for your car accident. And .... you have a right to be angry. I don't know who caused your accident but I know I am partly responsible .And believe me if I could take it back I would. I'm sorry Pao and I'm apologizing to you."

Prem stood like a petrified man, slowly realizing what the man in front of him had said. So it was true. The Mafia really was to blame for the accident, it wasn't just some delusional memory of Prem's as the police had told him.

Prem now yanked his hand away from the man that Boun had been holding and moved his body towards the exit, but Boun caught him and pinned him against the door. Prem didn't really resist, he was in a bit of a trance.
