Chapter 32

" So the day you went to Scorpio to switch with Prem you find out that he is Scorpio and he made you sign all the papers to transfer the money and the properties...you were having a meltdown until Mix came and explained to you that it was a little different all along and now here we sit, Prem is pregnant with you and he is still your soul mate." Kao breathed out the information all at once, wondering if he had understood it correctly.

" Yeah so I missed a few things but that's kind of what it was." Boun nodded

" Boun, you really want to give up command and leave it to Prem...I'm not denying that he's smart and good...it was evident in his people, how well he leads them but do you really mind handing it over to him as an Alpha? ' Ohm asked seriously now. Boun had always been a friend to him rather than just a boss and he cared about him.

Boun thought and leaned back in his chair and looked at his two friends.

" I thought about it for a long time, Prem wanted us to do it together, he said he never wanted to be in charge, but listening to him talk to his people, he's better than me. It felt wrong to say it before and it hurt, but now when I say it out loud it makes sense and I don't mind. I've always played at being someone my father wanted me to be, but now I know I'm not that person. I'm not saying I don't want to be a part of the action and partly decide where our steps will lead, but Prem will do better and I will stand by his side and protect our daughter and Prem. Maybe I will eventually decide to do something I wanted to do when I was younger but had to throw away because of the gang." Boun said with all the sincerity in his heart, and both Ohm and Kao understood that he had chosen that path willingly and it was for his happiness. The angry Alpha who had just yelled and been grumpy all the time after nothing was now sitting evenly against them, even though he had basically given up everything. But they weren't quite right, Boun had gotten more than he had left with Prem.

With Ohm and Kao gone too Boun went to find Prem now and found him curled up on the couch sleeping.

"I guess he was waiting for me to fall asleep...it's been a long day for him." Boun thought to himself as he brushed some unruly hair off Prem's forehead. He watched him sleep contentedly for a moment. The sight of his peaceful face was damn satisfying and so warming. Finally, he gently lifted Prem into his arms and carried him to the bed and as he laid him down Prem opened his eyes.

" Hia, it's dark outside, sorry I must have fallen asleep." Prem said sleepily

" Darling, it's okay, just rest, it's been hard for you today hasn't it?"

"Hmm a bit, having so many dominant Alphas around has exhausted me, it's hard to balance and gauge behaviour. And the pregnancy isn't adding much to my strength, it's making me more moody. It's hard to keep my cool." Prem uttered tiredly.

" I still admire you for the way you are, we made it through today together, everything worked out as planned, everyone agreed and will join in." Boun said as he lay down next to Prem on the bed and pulled him into a hug. They lay like that in silence for a while, enjoying the warmth of their bodies. Their entwined scent wafted through the room.

Suddenly Prem lifted his head and brought his face close to Boun's and gently placed his lips on his and began a gentle kiss, deepening it after a moment. It was nothing wild, they gently slid their tongues and rubbed their bodies against each other.
