Chapter 1

It was one of those rainy days in Bangkok when there is nothing to do outside but sit in a bar somewhere and drink. I mean, there are certainly other better things to do for fun, but Boun Noppaut opted for this activity. Plus, the club he has just arrived at belongs to him, so in addition to drinking expensive and quality alcohol, he can also claim to oversee that everything in the club is working as it should.

"Boss," the guard greets him outside the VIP entrance and opens the door for him. Boun enters the club. He's coming here alone tonight, his bodyguards are waiting in the car, this is his territory, he feels safe here. Everyone knows that this is the territory of the Black Viper gang, which he leads. After all, he didn't name the club "SNAKE" for nothing, he wanted his enemies to know that no one would welcome them here. After all, they'd be stupid to try to get in here. Boun had his territory well under control, with only that pesky Scorpion of the Red Dragon clan complaining about his work. It was originally a pretty big clan, but 4 years ago Boun had managed to disband the clan by removing its leader Earth from this world. Or at least it seemed that way for a year before this gang emerged from the ashes again, stronger than before. Boun had no idea who was leading it now, to his knowledge the previous leader had no descendants.So who could this damn Scorpion be that was now making his business so difficult.
 "Well, I'll figure it out, the bastard can't hide from me forever." Boun hissed now, hatefully, in front of his friends, with whom he was now sitting in the private lounge of this club.

" Well I don't know, he's pretty cunning, he's been hiding for over three years and we haven't been able to find out anything about him." Ohm said, now sipping his whisky on the rocks.

" Are you just saying that in your defense Ohm, you are the head of my security and in charge of getting and gathering information and all you can say about him in three years is that he is cunning? I think I'm gonna cut your pay." Boun growled now at Ohm, who just rolled his eyes, not about to argue with his boss today.

" So don't get upset today Boun, no one wants to see your wolf rage today, we had a successful week, you made some good deals on arms deliveries to Japan, we should celebrate." Kao said cheerfully, trying to calm Boun down and it seemed to work.

"I know what you're doing, you're trying to distract me from that bastard, but you're right, we can't solve this here and now, he's bound to make a mistake one day." Boun shook his head and took a sip of alcohol from his glass as well.

"So how are you going to celebrate the contracts today? Are you going to take some nice Omega to a room one floor up? A pretty young Omega with brown hair brought us drinks before you got here, she looked like she could warm the bed up good." Kao grumbled.

" Hmm I don't know, I'm getting tired of these young naive girls." Boun uttered as he took another sip of alcohol. " Don't tell me you want to settle down and get a wife." Kao laughed now.

" Why couldn't he, he's of an age to do it, I'd do it now if I didn't have to keep an eye on your asses all the time." Ohm said grimly.

" I don't know, I've never really thought about it much, somehow in our world there's always something to do and we kind of live life day to day. I don't even know what it's like to love someone, I've never really fallen in love with anyone. Wherever I go, Omegas and Betas jump out at me, I just have to see how to spot the right one among them. I don't think it's for me, it's such a cliché." Boun said thoughtfully.

Ohm now smiled: " You say that now, but wait until you meet the right person, he won't let you sleep and no matter how hard you try to resist, you will succumb to him."

" You're some kind of smart nowadays, are you an expert on love now?" Boun shook his head disapprovingly :" I'd better go down to the club and see how things are going. He can continue with his advice about love here with Kao." Boun grinned and walked to the elevator that this private lounge had and took it down one floor to walk around the bar and see the attendance.
