Chapter 13

Breakfast that day was already quite relaxed, if you can call it that.Kao tried not to stare at Prem the entire time, his eyes only following his plate in front of him. He just nodded his head in response to questions and suggestions. Ohm, on the other hand, kept staring at Prem, still not understanding how these two rivals could get together. He never thought that Boun could put up with such a dominant person next to him, but it seemed that Prem was very smart and didn't let things get to him. Unless you count the situation where some annoying Alpha was picking on him.
Prem was silent the whole time, just eating in silence, trying to give the Alpha some space and trying to appear relaxed, but he could feel Ohm's gaze on him. He tried not to take it personally, after all he was quite used to causing a stir as a male Omega that was why he usually wore a dampening patch in public, so as not to distract the surroundings with his pheromones which were very strong. Maybe it was the Alpha part of him that was increasing those pheromones. Prem never investigated it, he accepted the way he was and didn't want to be the target of doctors' scrutiny, so he lived a pretty normal life. Plus, his sister Lili was just like him, so he felt content and happy at home with his family.

Prem noticed the slightly tense atmosphere after a while and released some of his pheromones into the air. Just lightly and gently. It was like when you open a window at home and a fresh breeze blows the scent from your garden into your home and makes your home more pleasant. Prem saw the Alphas shoulders slump and decided that since the atmosphere was relaxed, he would let the Alphas get on with their work planning and go fix the system, so he bade Boun a gentle kiss goodbye and walked to the study and threw himself into his work.
When the Alphas finished their plans, the room was silent. Prem's pheromones helped a lot, but it had been a while and they were gone.

Kao was the first to speak now.

" Boun, I, I wanted to apologize again...I had no idea it was your Omega...I didn't mean to, I mean I did, but ....when he's so beautiful...it totally blew me away...I ."

" You better shut up Kao, don't talk about it anymore or I'll change my mind about your punishment, be glad Prem gave you that punishment, he's a good man and what's more, he's my Omega now, my mate, you should treat him with the same respect as you treat me. " Boun uttered seriously looking at Kao who just nodded in agreement.

Suddenly Ohm spoke up: " Boun you're serious about marking that Omega...I know I told you that you needed someone, but he...do you think he's the one for you. You know...you read the file. The mafia is responsible for his family's death, if Prem finds out, he's not gonna love you anymore. "

Kao was staring open-mouthed now, he didn't know this information, somehow he didn't connect his family's accident with that day.

''Ohm, I know you mean well, but I've made up my mind. She's perfect for me. And he knows about the accident. I told him the last time I saw him. I apologized to him." Boun replied.

Ohm and Kao both rolled their eyes, " He knows and he likes you ? ...Are you saying you apologized to him? Hello, what happened? Aliens came and replaced you? Did I just hear what you said? Did you voluntarily apologize to him, or did that Omega guy point a gun at you and force you and now he's somehow blackmailing you into being with him? " Ohm asked in a raised voice.

Boun now slammed his fist on the table." Hell I'm not going to discuss this anymore, I was the one forcing him to have anything to do with me. I wanted to put him to bed first, even though I knew what we had done to his family, I wanted to break him, use him and then bury him in the woods somewhere, but...but I don't know, in the end the complete opposite happened, I can't explain it to you and I don't have to, I'm the boss here and I'm going to do what I want anyway." Boun growled loudly, the wolf looking dangerously out of his red eyes.
