<3-----------------------------------------------<3
Joshua's brother has decided to throw a party at my family home while their parents are away. Honestly, the young man doesn't really care, as long as he stays in his room and doesn't mix with the others, everything should be fine. Nevertheless, the evening's already off to a bad start, since his brother has been called away to work, it's up to him to welcome the first two guests, and to be honest, he doesn't mind welcoming two people - it's the least he can do, if not the most.
Once his brother gets home from work, he locks himself in his room, and he hears the guests arriving little by little, which stresses him out a lot. Even though he's locked away in his little bubble with his computer, his music and his stuffed animals, he can still hear the other people in the living room making a lot of noise. His anxiety increases, he can hardly catch his breath and tears of stress roll down his cheeks.
He knew he could count on Chan to calm him down, and it worked really well, the hours passed and Joshua told his friend he'd try to go to bed, the noise seemed to be less loud than before, his brother and his friends had gone outside the house, Chan told his friend to have a good night, and if he needed anything his mobile would stay on, he could talk to him at any time, he'd always answer, Joshua thanked the youngest and turned off his mobile.
He hasn't been to the bathroom since the afternoon and he's starting to feel the urge to go, but when he hears his brother's friends coming back into the house, he panics again, his hand is on his door handle but it's shaking badly, he feels his stress attack rising up inside him, he knows he's safe in his room but he really wants to go out to the bathroom, but his social anxiety is clearly preventing him from going out.
So, with tears in his eyes, he returns to his bed, takes his stuffed toy between his arms and looks at the clock. It's past three o'clock in the morning, Joshua can't take it anymore, he's exhausted, he hears one of his brother's friends say that he's tired and that he's going to bed, He'd like everyone to do what he's doing, but no, the other people stay up making noise and having fun, and that makes Joshua grumble, he doesn't want to be there anymore, even in his room his anxiety is immense, he can't calm down, then when he hears someone say: You make love somewhere other than the bathroom.
That's the sentence too far for Joshua, the bathroom is literally glued to his bedroom, he doesn't want to hear people having fun together, so seeing the clock one last time, 6.30am he decides to open his bedroom window and jump out, he knows where to go and he also knows that this young boy will be able to calm his anxiety and stress so he runs to his neighbor's house.
As expected, as soon as he knocks the door opens on his neighbor and without even hesitating longer he takes the older one in his arms and the older one returns his embrace, he's worried when he sees the younger one's state, he tenderly strokes his hair and asks him what's going on, Joshua explains between his tears that his brother invited his friends and they partied all night, this prevented him from sleeping and because of his social anxiety he couldn't leave his room to go to the bathroom.
Jeonghan immediately invites the younger boy into his house and asks him to go to the bathroom. Joshua thanks him and runs to the toilet, then comes out of the bathroom yawning and Jeonghan invites him to come and sit with him on the sofa. Without a second's doubt, the black-haired man goes to sit beside the blond and Jeonghan automatically draws him into his arms, the young man finds himself half lying down on the sofa and Jeonghan takes care to make him comfortable, gently placing his boyfriend's head on his chest and placing kisses in his hair. The blond turns on the TV and within thirty seconds Joshua is peacefully asleep under his boyfriend's caresses.
A few hours later, the boy wakes up and realizes that his boyfriend is gone, Joshua stretches and yawns at the same time, and that's when Jeonghan returns to his side, he has some food with him and a glass of milk and the younger boy's stomach starts to growl. The blond chuckles softly and says he made the food on purpose because he suspected Joshua would be hungry. Because of his anxiety, he hadn't been able to leave his room or eat the night before.
Now that it's almost 2.00 p.m., it's inevitable that the young boy is hungry, especially as he confesses to his boyfriend that he hasn't eaten for exactly 24 hours. Jeonghan is extremely worried, so he immediately gives his boyfriend the plate full of food and the glass of milk, and the younger boy automatically eats. Jeonghan laughs to see that his boyfriend doesn't leave a single crumb, he must have been really hungry to eat it all at once like that, once the plate is completely empty, Jeonghan picks it up and goes off to wash it, he returns to his boyfriend on the sofa and chuckles.
The youngest has milk around his mouth, Jeonghan gently wipes it away and then asks his boyfriend if he can kiss him, Joshua replies that he doesn't even need to ask, he can just do it without hesitation. The blond chuckles and places his lips on his lover's, delicately, with extreme tenderness and gentleness. The exchange is sweet as usual, but is cut short by Joshua's cell phone ringing.
He picks up the phone and it's his brother on the other end of the line. His elder brother tells him about the damage he's caused: the downstairs toilet is clogged, two people have slept together in his bed, the floor is wet, and he's found a glass full of alcohol in the middle of the road. Joshua says he never wants to do that again; he's been up all night, exhausted. By 6.30 in the morning he couldn't take it any more, so he jumped out of his window and headed for his boyfriend's place.
His brother apologizes profusely and asks Joshua to come back into the house, but the younger Joshua refuses categorically, knowing full well that his brother will use him to clean the house for him, except that he doesn't feel like cleaning up the mess, so he tells his older brother that he'll stay with his boyfriend until their parents come back, but he's so angry right now that he doesn't want to see his brother. He manages to clean the house, and it's up to him to explain everything to the parents.
His big brother gets angry and it's too much for Joshua, so he hangs up immediately and sighs audibly, crossing his arms over his chest and making a slight pout, he feels a little anxiety attack rising inside him because if his brother doesn't clean up and their parents come home they're going to be very disappointed in them, so he starts to panic. Jeonghan understands this, so he takes the youngest in his arms and rocks him gently, placing kisses in his hair. This soothes Joshua enormously and the blond asks him what happened.
Joshua explains that he's stressed because their parents have left the house clean and if his brother doesn't clean it up, they'll find the house in a very bad state, and he doesn't want that because their parents trust them. Jeonghan tells her boyfriend that he has nothing to reproach himself for in this story - it's his brother who's at fault, not him - so their parents won't say anything to Joshua, but all the blame will go to his brother.
Joshua nods and settles back into his boyfriend's arms, thanking his older brother from the bottom of his heart for being there for him, for making him feel better, for helping him manage his anxiety and stress and, above all, for loving him. Jeonghan chuckles and tells his boyfriend that he doesn't need to thank him, that it's normal, that he's there and always will be.
