"Don't worry, everyone. I won't tell on her or anything..." Pugsley continues, a twinge of sarcasm in his tone as he steps closer to the group. "I know what it's like to have... feelings for someone. So, I'll keep that in mind."
What is Pugsley planning to do? Especially after seeing Enid in the kitchen. Is he going to tell her?
"Well, that certainly got interesting..." Gomez says with a chuckle as he shrugs and turns his gaze to Morticia, who's standing close by.
"So, my dear Morticia, are you finally ready to tell me what's going on?" He asks with a soft sigh, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. He can't help but hope that Wednesday is finally finding her own happiness.
As Pugsley turned around, his smirk grew. He walks into the kitchen, where he finds Enid leaning against a wall. He gives a little wave, a bit of smugness still in his tone as he speaks.
Pugsley can't help but feel a bit satisfied, as he knows he's about to drop quite the bombshell on Enid.
"Uh, Enid?" he starts, leaning his arms against the wall beside where Enid stands. "I think that Wednesday has something she wants to tell you."
As Enid's expression brightens, Thing shifts. He immediately jumped off the table and went to the other Addams.
(Thing knows that Wednesday is hiding something. He'd seen Wednesday leave and paced back and fourth in the library after eating.)
As Pugsley speaks, and she quickly straightens herself up.
"Really?" She asks, taking a moment to adjust her clothing and fix her hair.
"What is it? Did I do something to upset her?" Enid's tone is one that's worried, as she fears that Wednesday dislikes her. She didn't do anything, she certainly hopes.
"No, no, no, not at all," Pugsley replies, shaking his head.
"It's just that Wednesday's got a bit of a crush on you, but she's just having a bit of a hard time right now." Pugsley adds with a nod, a little nervous for what Enid's reaction will be.
She glances towards her laptop, which is still open to her gossip blog, and she smiles slightly before turning to Pugsley again.
"Thanks for your help, Pugsley, but she already told me everything herself." Enid's tone is one that's a bit teasing, almost like she's saying 'You're just a bit late to the party'
"Oh..." Pugsley sighs quietly, feeling more than a bit embarrassed now that his information doesn’t seem as groundbreaking as it once did. He gives a soft shrug in response.
"Well, I tried, I guess…" Pugsley replies, sounding somewhat sheepish. He straightens himself up, feeling a little bit frustrated that he’s always the last to know these things.
As Thing crawled for his life, he made it to the doors but they were shut.
Oh no, how is he gonna-
Knocks aggressively fast
"I wish I could tell you, Gomez," Morticia sighes, looking over at her husband. She can't help but feel a bit sympathetic towards her daughter in this situation, as she knows first hand what it's like to have a relationship come to an abrupt end.
"I'm afraid it's a bit of a sensitive subject right now and Wednesday isn't ready to discuss it. But I'll let you know jus-" She says before she gets interrupted by the constant knocking.
Gomez raised a brow, furrowing. How dare they cut off Morticia. "Who is it? Show yourself."
Of course Thing doesn't oblige, which leads to Uncle fester opening the door and he looked down.
(He was so used to looking down whenever opening a door because he'd expect it to be Thing.)
"Ah, What do you need little guy?" Fester asks, his tone stoic and steady.
"P-u-g-s-l-e-y is about to tell E-n-i-d" Thing signed, his fingers were fast and he had stuttered trying to spell Pugsley's name.
Morticia sighs quietly. This wasn't exactly what she wanted to be seeing, but she's not exactly shocked by the news, either.
"Not to worry, he doesn't know anything" She smiles in the direction of Thing, nodding in approval before she glances around at the rest of her family.
"Thanks for letting me know, Thing." Wednesday nods, seeming quite grateful for the little addams.
"I suppose it was inevitable that he would tell on me, but it’s nice to not be surprised.” She says, glancing around the room, then back to Thing.
Morticia gives a curt nod before heading to the kitchen, taking a seat on the kitchen chair across from her son, the table between them.
Gomez walks over to where Wednesday is, leaning down to give his daughter a quick kiss on her forehead.
"It'll be okay, Wednesday," He consoles gently. "Just take it easy for a little while, and make sure not to push yourself too hard... okay?"
"Okay, I'll...try not to." Wednesday nods, her usually stoic voice was replaced by a soft and light one.
"Now, where's Morticia and my little Pugsley? I need to give him a good scolding for his nosey behavior." He straightens himself up, the gentle tenderness in his voice giving way to a bit of firmness.
"Well, Gomez... if you're going to give him a scolding, don't be afraid to get him good," Fester says, his tone one of amusement. He glances over at Thing and Wednesday, giving a nod to them.
"That boy is going somewhere..hehe" He adds with a chuckle. Fester's always gotta make a buck off the gossip. He's just an ambitious businessman like that.
Grandmama Addams speaks her arms crossed over her chest with a smile.
"Oh, Gomez," she begins with a little giggle, "he's just a child. You can't expect him to always do what you say. He's just doing as little boys do!" She glances over her shoulder at her mischievous granddaughter, who watches with amusement as Gomez and her grandmother speak.
Gomez sighs quietly as he turns to his grandmother, a bit of annoyance in his voice as he responds.
"Mother, come now, you'll spoil him even more than you already have. What little boys do is rather trouble some sometimes." His tone is a bit grouchy, even as he nods his head in the direction of his son, who's walking away from the kitchen.
"And as little boys learn, what they do tends to come with consequences." He nods and glances back down at his grandmother with a slight smile. "I just want Pugsley to learn his lesson this time, too."
Grandmama Addams smiles at her grandson as she turns to face him, her eyes glittering like crystal.
"Oh, Gomez," she leans in closer to her grandson and sighs.
"I suppose you're right. I'll let you go handle your son, but then you must promise me you'll treat him gently." She gives a kind nod, a smirk on her lips as she speaks.
Gomez smiles quietly as he takes one more look at his grandmother before he glances in the direction that his son is heading off to.
"Of course, grandmama," he replies, a gentle fondness in his voice as he speaks. He can't help but smile as he looks back to his grandmother and gives her a warm, loving smile as he leans in to give her a quick kiss on the cheek before he turns and walks off in the direction his son and wife is headed off to.
