Waking up from a deep sleep and looking at the time, I realize I need to go grocery shopping since there is no food in the house. The phone Elex gifted me began to ring.

"Hello?"

"Hey, my queen."

"Hello, Elex, how are you?"

"Good, thank you, my love. Are you doing anything right now?"

"I was on the way to do grocery shopping; why do you ask?"

"Join me for dinner tonight. At your front door, there is a package for you."

Walking to my front door, I see four boxes on the ground.

"Hold on, Elex, let me just pick them up. What did you send me?"

"Why don't you open it, and I will pick you up at 7."

The line went dead. "Hello, Elex?" Setting the phone down next to the boxes, I open the first one to see a beautiful green dress inside.

"Wow, and it even comes with matching shoes!"

Opening the other boxes, I found three sets of jewelry that looked really stunning. This must have cost a fortune; why did he buy me such expensive gifts? Picking up the phone just as I wanted to call, I see an SMS there. Reading it, "Please wear them tonight and don't refuse." Smiling, it's 5, so I have a little time. Calling Bella to ask her if she can help me get ready, and she agrees. In about five minutes, she arrived.

"Wow, Bella, did you run or time travel?"

"I was in the area."

"So, tell me, where are you going?"

"I don't know," I said, "he will come at 7. He sent me all this."

"You are one lucky girl. Wait, are those real diamonds?"

"I don't know, let's Google the name."

After my bath, she settles me into my chair, styles my hair, applies my makeup, and meticulously tweezes my eyebrows, which is quite painful. Turning around, "Wow, is this really me? Bella, you've done an amazing job, thank you!"

"Stop that, I don't even know if he likes me. I will be honest, I really do like him, Bella. He is haunting my dreams."

She steps out, the door swings open, and I turn around, asking, "What did you forget, Bella?" But as I turn, I realize that it's not Bella standing there; it's Elex. He looks at me, smiling.

"You look beautiful," he says, and I almost forget how to breathe.

"You look handsome as always," I said, smiling at him.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yes, I'm ready."
