AUTHOR POV~
Jeon's H Farm, Busan. The next day the morning sunrays on Jeon's Haesbich farm in a soft golden light casting a warm glow over the flower fields and the entire landscape. Inside the Jeon house in Jungkook's room the young master jeon was practically still in bed sleeping off the remains of last night's gratification but a sharp throbbing headache jolted him awake, and he groaned.
Instinctively pressing a hand against his temple as if to ward off the pain. He slowly sat up leaning against the headboard his eyes squeezed shut against the bright morning light.
"Ahh.., my head hurts a lot" Jungkoook mumbled wincing as the pain in his head.
"Serves you right" came a sudden sharp familiar voice cutting through the silence of the room.
Jungkook's eyes snapped open and he blinked rapidly to adjust his vision. There near his bed, stood his mother Mrs. Jeon her expression stern.
She stood with her hands on her hips her eyes narrowing at her son in a way that sent a chill down his spine. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat and he instinctively placed a hand on his chest.
"Oh God, Mom!! You scared me to death" he said with a nervous chuckle rubbing the back of his neck as he tried to lighten the mood.
But Mrs. Jeon's was in the no mood to listen to his jokes or something silence hung heavy in the air and the laughter died in his throat. She just stood there glaring at him as if she was holding herself back from drowning him in a bucket of cold water.
Jungkook fidgeted under her intense stare, the discomfort growing with every second. He opened his mouth to speak to ask what's wrong, but Mrs. Jeon cut him off with a sharp tone.
'Breakfast is ready. Hurry up I'm waiting for you downstairs" she snapped her words tinged with anger and disappointment. Without waiting for a response Mrs. Jeon turned on her heel and stormed out of the room the door slamming shut behind her with a loud thud.
The sound made him flinch hard his heart racing as he watched his mother's disappearing figure confusion swirling in his mind. "Did I do something wrong?" he muttered to himself rubbing his temples as the events of the previous night slowly trickled back into his memory.
He vaguely remembered the trip the drinks but he didn't remember anything more and he sighed heavily. "I must have gotten too drunk… again."
Jungkook ran a hand through his messy hair. "Well this is just great. A hangover and a pissed off mom. I'm in for it today."
He quickly get off from the bed knowing that making Mrs. Jeon wait any longer would only worsen his situation. He rushed to the bathroom splashing cold water on his face in an attempt to clear his head. "Get it together Jungkook" he mumbled to himself staring at his reflection in the mirror. The face staring back at him looked rough his eyes slightly puffy and bloodshot evidence of a night he couldn't fully remember.
After taking bath and dressed up he took a deep breath, straightened up resdy to handle whatever lecture awaited him downstairs.
"Time to face the music" he said steeling himself as he headed out of his room bracing for the scolding he knew he deserved for getting drunk that's what he believed.
At the dining table, Jungkook sat at the dining, sipping on the hangover soup his mother had prepared for him. Mrs. Jeon paced back and forth in front of him her eyes occasionally darting to him with a sharp glare.
Each time his mother's eyes met Jungkook felt a surge of anxiety almost choking on his soup. He swallowed nervously trying to muster the courage to break the tense silence that filled the room.
