A Night to remember

CHAPTER 11

Mr. Min feels his knees are shaking because of what he learned. He was about to fall when Tae Gu catch him.

"Appa..." He said. Mr. Min clench his fist. "Why did you hide it from me, Tae Gu?" He asked. "I recently found it. I see a sonogram photo behind his picture." He said. Mr. Min look at him.  "Min Ho will return next month, and we're going to talk about it." He said.

After their conversation, Tae Gu walk straight to Tae Hyun's room. He search for some clues about his girlfriend. He see Tae Hyun's photo album since he was a kid. He seatec and take a look at it.

His eyes widen when he see the seven years old Tae Hyun. "What's this? Hyung and Tae Ji are look alike." He said. He recalled the conversation between him and Chae Yoon. "Ani... It can't be..." He said. He immediately take the photo and the necklace and decide to go back to Chae Yoon's apartment.

Meanwhile, Chae Yoon washing the dishes when her phone beep. She frowned while reading the message.

'I'm here outside... Please let's talk... I'll be waiting on you...'

Chae Yoon put down her phone and go back to the sink. She stop on her doing and let out a deep sigh.

She decide to go outside and face him. 

Seon Woo smile when he see Chae Yoon walking towards to where he's standing. Chae Yoon look at him. "How did you know my address and number?" She asked. "I ask Sam Suk when I accidentally bumped her on the mall." He said.

"Aishh... That girl..." She murmured.

"Chae Yoon shhi..." He said and try to hold her hands. "Im sorry..." He said. Chae Yoon release her hand from his hold. "You choose to run away and left me behind, so you must stick to your decision and now, you keep calling me and want to be part of my life again?" She said. Chae Yoon took a breath before she speak again. "Kim Seon Woo... Let's not meet again, since you decide to leave me, since that day... I choose to forget you." She said.

She walk passed through him and she got startled when Seon Woo hug her from her behind. "Please, Chae Yoon. Give me another chance. I promise this time I'll be good to you and Tae Ji. I will never leave you again... I will be a good father to Tae Ji." He said.

Without them knowing, Tae Gu heard them and see them. He's clenching his fist because of jealousy but he knows he doesn't have a right to feel that way. And at the same time, he got confused, maybe he is the father of Tae Ji, In Tae Gu's thought.

He turn around and with his heavy feet he walk back towards to his car.

Chae Yoon went to work early before the office time. She recalled the conversation between her and Seon Woo.

Flashback

Chae Yoon release herself from his hug and turn around to face him. "I don't believe you now, Seon Woo!"She said. "You left when I needed you the most. You said you love me but you choose to break my heart. You choose to turn your back on me. And now, you're telling me to start over?" She cried. Seon Woo try to hold her but Chae Yoon stop him. "Please... Just leave and don't you ever come back." She said. Chae Yoon walk away from him.

"I swear... I will keep pursuing you until we get back together,  Chae Yoon. I will never give up to win your heart again." Seon Woo said.

Chae Yoon ignored him and she continue her walk heading back to her apartment.

End of flashback

Tae Gu look at her as he enter his room. Chae Yoon didn't notice his entrance because of she's thinking. Tae Gu adjust his body and make his face closer to her face. "Oh my god!" Chae Yoon said as she got so startled. Tae Gu smile while looking at her eyes. Chae Yoon immediately stood up when she see Tae Gu but she accidentally hit his head.

"Im sorry..." Chae Yoon said. She immediately walk closer to him when she see the red marks on his forehead. "Are you okay?" Chae Yoon said as she try to reach his forehead. Tae Gu stop her and hold ger wrist. He got worry that Chae Yoon might heard the sound of his heart that keeps pounding everytime she's near at him. "I'm okay..." He said. Chae Yoon look away and take one step backward when she notice how close she is to him.

"You're early, Ms. Ha..." He said. Chae Yoon smile, "Yes... I hired someone to look for Tae Ji. Sam suk is busy too so I need someone who will look for him everyday while Im working." She said.  Tae Gu nodded.

Tae Gu look at the necklace on his hand but he recalled what he saw last night. He want to ask her but he didn't know how to start. He let out a deep sigh and put back the necklace on his pocket.

Meanwhile,

Mr. Min is on his son room and looking at the sonogram photo that Tae Gu gave to him. He look at his son's photo and take it. "Why you need to hide this from me, Tae Hyun?" He said. "Is it because, you're afraid of what will happen to that girl if I found out the truth?" He added.

He take his phone and call someone.

"Yes,  it's me... I have something to assign to you." He said. "Investigate who are the people that my son Tae Hyun met before he got an accident." He said.

He look again to sonogram photo when he ended the call. "If you are still alive and you really the son of my late son, you must take your place here as your father's heir." He said.

Chae Yoon got shocked when she see Seon Woo standing infront of the company building. "Oh! Is that Seon Woo?" Sam suk said. Chae Yoon gave her a death glared. "Im sorry, he always keep calling me and ask where you're working." Sam suk said. "Can you listen to his reason first." Sam suk said.

"Yah! Choe Sam suk! I know you're also friends with him but, you know what happened to us in the past? I don't get it why he came back and want to start over again with me." She said. "Maybe because he realized that he still love you." Sam suk said. "Me? But what about Tae Ji? How about my son?" Chae Yoon said. "No one will have my heart if they will never accept my son as part of my life." She said.

She walk away and take the other side of the road to avoid Seon Woo. Tae Gu heard them and watching her walking from a far.
