CHAPTER 38

"By the way Chae Yoon... I saw this in front of your door when I came here." Sam Suk said and gave her the small  box that she saw outside the door.

"What's this?" She said while looking at the box.

Sam Suk went to Tae Ji's room to play with him while Chae Yoon put the box on the counter table and open it.

It's full of baby stuffs and some juices and milk that's good for pregnant woman. "Wow.." She said with her eye smile while looking at the stuffs.

She search the card to know who gave it. She smile when she saw Mr. Min's name on the card.

She was about to call him to thank him when Tae Ji suddenly call her.

"Waeyo?" She said as she enter his room. "Eomma Auntie Sam Suk love to tease me to Jane." Tae ji said.

Chae Yoon and Sam suk laugh.

"Who is she?" She asked. "She's our new neighbor. They're living next to us." Tae Ji said. "She's pretty and very sweet girl. She's from germany." Sam suk said.

Chae Yoon sit next to Tae Ji and look at him. "So you also find her pretty?" She asked. Tae Ji frowned but he nodded. "Yes she is, but you're much prettier than her, Eomma." Tae Ji said. Chae Yoon smile, "Really?" She asked. Tae Ji stood up and hug her. "When I grow up I want to marry a girl like you, Eomma." Tae Ji said. "A pretty lady inside and out. A loving  and sweet mother like you." He added.

Chae Yoon smile and her heart flutter because of what he said.

"Aigoo... How sweet our Tae Ji is." Sam suk said.

Tae Gu decide to meet Ji Min at the cafe near his office.

Ji Min smile when she saw him as she enter the cafe.

"Tae Gu..." She said happily. Tae Gu immediately stood up when Ji Min try to approach him.

Ji Min smile faded.

"Im glad you came. Have a seat." He said coldly. Ji Min sit opposite to where he's seated. "When I saw your message... I'm so happy,Tae Gu." She said. Tae Gu remain serious while looking at her. Ji Min look away. "Why you want to meet me?" She asked. Tae Gu look at her. "I'm being straightforward this time, Ji Min." Tae Gu said. Ji Min look at him, "What is it?" She said.

"Please stay away from Chae Yoon. Don't you ever come to our place and meet her." He said. Ji Min smirked and rest her back on the chair. "I knew it! You wanted to meet me because of that girl!" She said. "So that girl told you that I went there last time." She added. She look at him. "Wae? I didn't do anything to harm her? I just talked to her that's all." She said. "I know but I also knew you, Ji Min." He said. "So, stay away from her. I couldn't promise you that I will have mercy on you when something bad happen to her. For Chae Yoon, I'm willing to hurt someone if that someone is trying to harm her." He said.

Ji Min frowned and her jealousy and anger got aroused. "I'm always with you, Tae Gu! Why you didn't see my worth? Why you need to choose her over me?" She scream. "Because I love her! That's it!" He said. Ji Min feel hurt but she try to hide it. "No you don't, maybe you're just confused because of what she did and sacrifice for your nephew." She said. Ji Min stood up and sit next to him. "Tae gu please, try to open your heart for me. I'm inlove with you for so long, Im begging you... Leave her and get back to me. I swear,  I will allow you to see your child with her." She said while holding his hand.

Tae Gu try to release his hand. "Ji Min,  you must stop wanting me. I have someone in my life now. We both know our relationship was only forced by our parents. You're only hurting yourself and I don't want to." He said. Ji Min look at him. "But for me, our wedding is my dream. Why don't you see it, Tae Gu? In this life, my only want is you." She said. Tae Gu didn't speak and he let out a deep sigh. "I guess it will be hard for me to make you understand our situation." He said. "But please... Stop bothering the woman that I love. If you really love me like what you said, please... Let me happy with Chae Yoon." He said.

Tae Gu stood up and and left her. Ji Min wipe away her tears as she looking at him from a far. "I guess, my decision was right." She said. "I hope that woman died with her unborn baby." She added as she smirked while clenching her fist.

Chae Yoon kiss Tae Ji when he fall asleep. She cover the blanket on him and turn the lights off before she went outside the room.

She walk towards the counter table and saw the juices that Mr. Min gave her. She immediately take her phone and call Mr. Min but he didn't answer her call. She was about to call him again but her phone suddenly ring. She smile when she saw Tae Gu's name registered on the screen.

Chae Yoon: Are you done?
Tae Gu: Yes, but I'm here to Appa's house. Im visiting him. Is Tae Ji asleep already?

(She smile and nodded)

Chae Yoon: Yes he is... Have you eaten?

Tae Gu: No, I was just stop by here. You want something to eat? Let's eat together when I get home.

Chae Yoon: Arasso... Can you buy me some Mandu? A fried one,  Can I?

(Tae Gu smile)

Tae Gu: Arasso...

(Chae Yoon went to the counter table and saw the box that from Mr. Min)

Chae yOon: Tae Gu, can you send my thank you to Appa. He sent me a box of juices and milk for pregnant woman and some baby stuffs.

Tae Gu: oh really? I told you, he's a sweet father in law... Arasso, I will tell him. He's on the bathroom right now.

Chae Yoon: (She smiled.) Thank you.. I'll wait you here. Drive safely, Arasso? 

Tae Gu: Arasso... I love you, Mrs. Min.

Chae Yoon: I love you more, Mr. Min.

When Tae Gu end their phone call, Mr. Min suddenly enter the room.

"Is that Chae Yoon?" Mr. Min asked. Tae Gu smile as he nodded. Mr. Min smile and went to the kitchen. "Tae Gu, can you give this to her." He said. He take a box from the the fridge and put it on the counter table.

"It's different kinds of fruits from jeju." Mr. Min said. Tae Gu approach him and take one grapes and eat it. "Yah! It's for Chae Yoon and her baby."Mr. Min scold him.

an eat these fruits." Tae Gu said jokely. Mr. Min laugh. "By the way Appa, thank you for being a good father in law to her. I really appreciate it." He said. Mr. Min smile. "She deserve to be treated like this." Mr. Min said.

Tae Gu smile.

"Anyway, thanks for the box of juices and baby stuffs that you sent to our house. Chae Yoon really love it." Tae Gu said.

Mr. Min smile faded and he frowned. "I think your mistaken... I didn't send any juices or anything to your house." Mr. Min said.

Tae gu smile faded and look at his father with puzzlement. "But Chae Yoon told me that you sent those things to our house." He said.

"No, I didn't send anything. In fact, I'm  just got home from jeju." Mr. Min said.

Tae Gu got confused. Mr. Min look at him and stop from his doing. "Wae?" Mr. Min asked.

Tae Gu look at his father as he become suddenly feel anxious. "Appa,I have to go.." He said as he immediately went outside.

"Tae Gu.." Mr. Min called.
