A Night to remember

CHAPTER 20

Tae Gu try to follow her but Ji Min stop him. "Tae Gu.. You really want a scandal here? Let her be!" Ji Min said. Tae Gu aggressively pull his arms from her hold and gave her a death glared. "Why have to do this? We talked about this, right? I already told you that I couldn't marry you." He said. "You know I love you, Tae gu." She said. "That girl is trying to steal you from me." She added. Tae Gu look at her. "I thought you will understand me but I was wrong..." He said. "Fine! Love her as long as you want but you will end up marrying me. I will make sure that she will suffer when you decide to choose her over me." Ji Min said. Tae Gu ignores her and walk fast to follow Chae Yoon. "Yah! Tae Gu!" She scream. Ji Min cries as she clenching her fist.

Tae Gi got frustrated when he didn't swe Chae Yoon. He try to call her but her phone has been turned off.

Chae Yoon didn't went home that day. She call Sam Suk and Hae ra to be with Tae Ji the whole night. She told her that she need to stay in the office. She didn't want Tae Ji to see her crying so she decide not to go home.

She book a room in a hotel near at Han River. She cries as she trying to absorb what she learned. She turned off her phone and throw it on the floor.

"Im so stupid!" She cries while hitting herself. She gave everything to wrong man,  in her thought. "What should I do, Eonnie?" She cried. "Why I need to have a same fate like yours?" She added. "I gave him my everything.. What should I do now?" She cries.

Meanwhile, Tae Gu went to Chae Yoon place. Sam suk open the door and he immediately enter. "CEO Min... Tae Ji is already asleep." Sam suk said. Tae Gu look to Chae Yoon and he decide to enter her room but he didn't see her. "Sam suk please, tell me where she is. I need to talk to her." He said.

"She said she's staying in the office so I thought she's with you tonight." Sam suk said. "Wae? Is there something happened?" She asked. Tae Gu look at her. "Please tell me if she's go home and please take care of Tae Ji while she's gone." He said.

"Did she already knew about your fiancee?" She asked. Tae Gu stop from his walk. "I hope you can resolve it but Knowing Chae Yoon, trust is important for her. And she didn't want to end up like her late sister." Sam suk said. Tae Gu look at her. "Did you really love her?" Sam suk asked. "Or you just playing with her heart?" She said. "I admit I was wrong not to confess her about Ji Min. That I didn't fix  everything before I pursue her. But I know my feelings and my intentions to her is pure and genuinely. I love her, Sam Suk. I can give up everything just to have her." He said.

Sam Suk let out a deep sigh. "I guess she's in the hotel near the Han river. She always went there if she's sad and in pain. She didn't want her son to see her crying so I think she's there." She said.

Tae Gu smile, "Thank you for trusting me, Sam Suk." He said. "I hope my decision is right, CEO Min." She said.

Chae Yoon is in the bathtub drinking her liquor. She rest her head as she looking at the glass window with the view of the moon outside.

Her tears couldn't stop running down her cheeks. She recalled the day that she surrender her body to him. They did it for how many times already and she hit her head.

"Stupid!" She said.

She drink another glass of liquor."You're an idiot, Ha Chae Yoon. You always told to yourself that you will never ever be like your sister. Being blinded by love and loving a man who is already taken." She said as she looking at her reflection through the glass window. "Look at you now, you are just the same like her." She said as she wipe her tears. She close her eyes and feel her heart.

Yes, her heart broke into pieces but still, her heart is yearning for someone, Min Tae Gu... he already snatch her heart from her.

Tae Gu released breath of relief because he knows the owner of the hotel where Chae Yoon is staying. He immediately get her unit number and the extra key on her room.

He gain his courage before he pressed the doorbell but Chae Yoon still didn't open the door in his fifth attempt.

Tae Gu decide to use the spare key and he immediately enter to her unit.
He saw her things scatter on the floor. Her clothes are also on the floor near the bathroom. Her phone is on the floor and turned off.

He heard a splash of water inside the bathroom.

Chae Yoon fell asleep in the tub. She woke up when she feel cold. She stood up and take shower. She take the bathrobe and put it on her naked body.

"Oh my god!" She scream when she see Tae Gu seated on the bed as she went outside the bathroom. "What are you doing here? How did you get here?" She asked. Tae Gu stood up and walk to approach her. "I told you, you can't escape me Chae Yoon. I will going to find you by any means. So don't disappear again just like what you did today." He said.

Chae Yoon look at him and she rolled her eyes. She walk passed through him but Tae Gu immediately hug her from behind. "Please let's talk. Please hear me out." He whispered. Chae Yoon try to release from his hold but she can't. "Oh god please Tae Gu... Leave me alone. I want space to think!" She said. "No! Let's talk and fix this tonight." He said. Chae Yoon stop from struggling when Tae Gu still hugging her tightly. "You made me a mistress... You made me a fool... Why? I gave you my everything but you lied to me." She cried. Tae Gu feel her pain in every words of her. "Im sorry... I didn't tell you about her. But trust me, all that I show and tell you are all true. I love you and I will never ever think to play with your heart." He said. Chae Yoon is in pain and it's hard to believe him right now. "This isn't gonna work, Tae Gu. I can't afford to be someone who ruined a relationship because of my greed." She said.

"Let's break up.." she said.

"No!" He said. He release her from his hug and look at her. "No! We're not going to break up!" He said. "I can back off from that engagement, from that wedding just for you, Chae Yoon." He said. Chae Yoon look at him. "Yah! Min Tae Gu! I see in her the pain and how she really loves you." She said. "But I don't love her! It was an arrange marriage, Chae Yoon. I didn't love her." He said. He hold her in her face. "Chae Yoon shhi... I love you... You're the only one who makes my heart beating like this. Who makes me anxious like this. Please let's talk..." He said.  Chae Yoon look away and try to avoid him but he hug her tightly.

"I plan to confess you everything but I was late... I'm sorry." He whispered. Chae Yoon cries while controlling herself not to hug him back. "I will fix everything Chae Yoon just give another chance to prove it." He said.

"What about Tae Ji? You lure me to have a DNA test." She said. Tae Gu stop and look at her. He didnt expect this. Chae Yoon look at him while her tears keep running down to her cheeks. "You requested a DNA test to prove that Tae Ji is your nephew, Am I right? So all this time you're trying to get close to us because of that." She said.

Tae Gu look at her and he couldnt speak.
