CHAPTER 24

Side story

Ji Min walk to approach them.

"How dare you?" Ji Min shouted. All of them stop from cheering and they all in silence. Chae Yoon got worry and Tae Gu feel it. He hold her hand tightly when he feel she is going to pull her hand from him. Ji Min saw how he hold her hand. "You bitch!" She said and try to slap Chae Yoon but Tae Gu hold her on her wrist. He cover his body and hide Chae Yoon on his behind.

"Stop! Don't you ever lay your hand to my girlfriend, Ji Min." He said. Ji Min look at her. "Im your fiancee TaeGu! How dare you to announced your relationship to your mistress!" She said. "She's not my mistress, Ji Min! And you know that. I already told you and to your father that I'm backing of to that arrange marriage and I'm willing to accept what the consequences will be." He said. Tae gU look to Chae Yoon. "So I can marry the woman that I love." He said. Chae Yoon look at him and her tears suddenly escaping from her eyes.

"How about me, Tae Gu?" Ji Min cried.  Tae Gu look at her. "Im sorry but I couldn't teach my heart to love you and you know it ever since." He said.

Tae Gu pull her away and they walk towards the exit.

All of them are now looking to Ji Min who still standing infront of them. "What are you looking for? The drama was over!" She shouted.

The two stop from their walk when they reach Tae Gu's car. He look to Chae Yoon then he smile. "Now, you don't have to avoid me,  Arasso?" Tae Gu said. Chae Yoon look at him. "That's why you're sulking for the whole day?" She said.  Tae Gu nodded as he pout his lips. "I want to touch you, to hold you and to kiss you but I can't because you always worried about what the staff will say." He said. Tae Gu hold her hand. "Chae Yoon... You're my love and your precious. You must have some confident to face them. You don't have to feel embarrassed because you didn't do anything wrong. We didn't do anything wrong. We love each other and that's the truth." He said. Chae Yoon smile and hug him. "Arasso.... I'm sorry, I didn't think about your feelings." She whispered. Tae Gu touch her face and kiss her. He was about to kiss her again when Chae Yoon feels she was about to vomit. She cover her mouth and Tae Gu look at him. "Wae?" He asked. Chae Yoon smile, "Maybe it's because of the alcohol. Can you send me home now. Im also feel dizzy." She said. Tae Gu open the door for her and assist her until she went inside the car.

Present days

Ji Min's father is furious as he went to Min's residence.

"My daughter got embarrassed on what your son did last time!" Mr. Kang said.  Mr. Min stood up. "What happened?" He asked. "Your son announced his relationship to that girl! To his mistress! And now my daughter cries all night in her room. She couldnt eat and sleep. Look what your son did to my daughter!" He said angrily. Mr. Min couldnt speak. "You better give him a better scolding and you must fix this." Mr. Kang said.  "We're friends yes but when regards to my daughter,  I will never havd mercy on him." Mr. Kang said and he left Mr. Min dumbfounded.

Mr. Min clench his fist. "Call my son right now and tell him to come home." He said to his secretary.

Meanwhile, 

Chae Yoon woke up and feel her stomach is upset. She immediately stood up and went to the bathroom when she feel she's about to vomit.

Tae Gu and Tae Ji look at her. "Eomma always like that every morning." Tae Ji said. "Did she? Since when?" He asked. "It's been week I guess... But she always telling me she's okay." Tae Ji said. "Eat your food... I'll go and check your mom, Arasso?" He said and Tae Ji nodded. 

Chae Yoon wash her mouth and look at herself through the mirror.  "What's happening to me, why Im look like a mess these days?." She said.  Her thought interrupted when she heard a knock on the door. "Are you okay?" He asked. Chae Yoon fix herself and open the door. Tae Gu look at her and touch her forehead. "Im okay..." She said. "Tae Ji told me you're always like that every morning, are you sure you're okay?" Tae Gu asked. Chae Yoon smile and nodded. "Dont worry about me... Im fine." She said and she went back to her room.

Tae Gu tilt his head while looking at her door.

After his announcement,  Tae Gu and Chae Yoon always went to the company together with their hands entwined. 

Chae Yoon's phone suddenly beep and she immediately take her phone. She tilt her head when Unknown number registered on the screen.

'let's meet at the cafe near the company. It's me Tae Gu's father.

Chae Yoon look at him. She suddenly feel anxious as she read the text message.

Tae Gu notice her being so distracted and preoccupied. "Chae Yoon, are you okay? Is there something bothering you?" He asked. Chae Yoon look at him and let out a small smile as she nodded.

"Tae Gu, can I took my half day today?" She asked. Tae gu look at her. "Wae?" He asked. "I need to go to the school, Tae ji's teacher want to talk to me." She lied. "Arasso... You want me to join you?" He said.

"No!" She replied immediately.

Tae Gu look at her as he trying to read her mind.

"I mean... Im okay...I can go by myself." She said. Tae Gu nodded.

He's back on his doing but he keep stealing glances on her.

Mr. Min is arrived early before the time he told to Chae Yoon. Chae Yoon show respect as she see him. "Have a seat." He said. Chae Yoon seated opposite to him. Mr. Min look at her. "I heard you are the guardian of my grandson." Mr. Min said. Chae Yoon look at him. "Ha Chae Yoon, right?" He said. Chae Yoon nodded. "It seems your a smart girl just like your sister." He said. "What do you mean, Mr. Min?" She asked. "You're sister broke up with my son when she learned about his marriage to his fiancee that time. And I think you knew that story of them, Am I right?" He said. "Ms. Ha, I was hoping that you will do the same just like what your sister's decision. Im sorry to say this but I dont like you to be with my son." He said. Chae Yoon try to control her tears as she clenching her fist under the table.  "He's already engaged with Ji Min before you came to his life. Aside from ruining their relationship, you also ruining our relationship as father and son." He said.

Chae yoon wipe her tears. Its like a knife that pointing her heart in every word of Mr. Min. "We love each other, Mr. Min. I promise to him that I will stay by his side. I already expect this that it will never be easy but Im ready to take the risk." She said.

Mr. Min started to get annoyed. "Ms. Ha... I think you didnt understand what Im saying. So I will be straight forward to you." He said. "Leave my son and I will accept you as my guardian of my grandson.." He said. Chae Yoon look at him. "Are you making me choose between him and Tae Ji?" She asked. "If that's what you think..." He said. 

Mr. Min drink his tea before he speak. "I will never take away my grandson from you but you have to promise me one thing..." He said. "You will leave my son without any trace." He said.

Chae Yoon look at him with tears in her eyes.
