After investigating the case, it was revealed that the real suspect is the victim’s own wife because the victim had a history of emotional, physical and sexual abuse towards their child. She (Sandra) was proven guilty because of her own testament an hour after Santua interrogated her.
The child (Aliana), feeling threatened and fearing for her life, took action to defend themselves against her own father, she stabbed him once. Due to the lack of evidence pointing to her and the circumstances surrounding the crime, it has been deemed justifiable parricide and the case will be dismissed.
