Yanzy’s P.O.V
A guy silently entered the interrogation room, his appearance belied by his sinister intentions. He wore a white shirt with a subtle sheen, fitted black jeans that seemed to have been tailored to perfection, and a face mask that seemed to be made of some kind of lightweight fabric. His hands were clenched into fists, and in one of them he held a small plastic that contained cyanide toxin. Despite his innocent-looking face, he had an evil plan brewing in his mind.
My forehead creased.
Wait... Why does his physique seems familiar to me?
Both silently wanted to scream for help.
I walked closely to them, hoping I can get any clues.
I stood frozen in horror, my eyes fixed on the two figures lying before me. They were once full of life, but now they were slowly succumbing to the poison that had been coursing through their veins. The air was thick with the very unpleasant smell of death, and I could feel the weight of despair settling over me.
“Bad karma...”
This is the karma I need to pay for having this dmn curse.
Their eyes sunken and their skin were pale shade of gray. Their chest rose and fell in shallow gasps, lungs struggling to draw in air. Their eyes were closed, their faces twisted in a grimace of agony.
I need to bite my fvcking mouth not to create a noise because I’m not allowed to do it. This scene of victim’s dying every time I’ll enter the quest was too heavy for me to watch. Entering a quest were fvcking curse and blessing at the same time.
The room become dimly lit, the blow of the wind got colder. The air was heavy with the scent of decay and death, and I could feel the weight of mortality pressing down upon me.
I stood there for what felt like hours, hoping I won’t need this curse again anymore, not another day, no more days. Seeing what happened before someone died kills me... every time.
I closed my eyes and let out a silent prayer for peace. For forgiveness. For an end to the suffering that was about to claim them.
He just shrugged.
“Done?” I asked Zain after I told him what I saw.
He’s one of my trusted comrade. How?
What’s will be his reason?
It can’t be...
But what if Zain...
Ugh. He knows better, he’s an artist.
