Odd Eye's wicked grin stretched even wider as he stepped forward, his finger glowing with that ominous, dangerous energy. " Now, let's dispense with the pleasantries and get down to business," he sneered, every word dripping with malice. " I want One For All, and now that I know for certain you still possess it, I'm taking it. No more games."
Izuku narrowed his eyes, his gaze flickering to Katsuki, whose face was etched with raw horror. Even though he'd only just relearned about his quirk, the sheer power of it was beginning to sink in. His body fought on sheer instinct, and the destruction he'd unleashed was immense. He would never let it fall into the hands of someone like the Odd Eye.
"Stop, you bastard!" Katsuki barked, his words coming out as a strained croak.
His eyes burned with a fierce mix of anger and fear as he pushed against the ground, muscles screaming under the weight of his battered body. Damn it all, he wasn't about to let some third-rate villain lay a filthy finger on Deku's quirk.
But his body was a goddamn traitor, every movement met with searing pain. The scowl etched onto his face deepened, lines of agony and frustration carving into his features. Pain shot through every nerve, but he shoved it aside. He'd been through worse, damn it.
Just the thought of One For All falling into the hands of scum like Odd Eye churned his gut with raw disgust. Katsuki would rather fucking die than give up! Over his dead body!
He gritted his teeth, trying to summon strength from somewhere—anywhere. His muscles burned with fatigue, arms shaking as he struggled to crawl toward Izuku. But the asshole pinning him down had a grip like a damn vice.
"Damn it!" he snarled, frustration boiling over inside him. So close, yet it felt like a goddamn building was crushing him. The fire user above laughed with twisted glee, watching him struggle like it was some kind of sick joke.
"Get the hell off me, you piece of shit!" he spat, voice dripping with venom. He strained against the hold, his nails dug into the asphalt, cracking them with each desperate movement.
But as the struggle intensified, a sinister weight slithered into his mind, claws sinking deep into his consciousness. Those damn voices—relentless, gnawing whispers—crawled to the surface, each word dripping with poison, slicing into his psyche like shards of glass.
Failure. Weak. Worthless.
The words echoed through his mind, an unrelenting chorus of self-doubt that struck with the force of a sledgehammer blow. Breathing was a nightmare, each gulp of air a fucking struggle as he battled the relentless barrage of thoughts. The pain tearing through his body meshed with the mental agony, turning everything into a sensory overload. The fire villain's mocking laugh echoed all around, shadows taunting his every weakness like hungry predators circling their target.
Not now. Not now. NOT NOW!
"Shut the fuck up!" Katsuki roared, his voice a raw scream that echoed through the darkest corners of his psyche. His fists clenched tight, nails biting into his palms hard enough to draw blood as he fought to push back the encroaching darkness. He shook his head violently, desperate to drown out the toxic echoes.
He's not worthless. He's not a goddamn failure!
The words hammered in his skull, a desperate mantra against the rising tide of doubt. His vision blurred, shadows closing in and choking the air from his lungs. His chest tightened like a vice was clamping down, threatening to crush him from the inside out.
