Chapter thirteen

Rachel POV
Today is Chris and Beth's birthday and so far it's been going good. Everyone's having a good time, and there's a butt load of presents at the table. A couple people are still not here, but nothing important is going on yet, so they're safe. Finn and I decided to go to the "bathroom" for a little bit. When we came out I think everyone had arrived. Mackenzie who is Quinn's maid of honor came over to us while I was fixing my hair.

Finn POV
Everyone's here, and having a great time. Chris and Beth for once weren't fighting. I'm pretty proud of my present, I got him a drum set! For Beth Rachel told me "we" got her a life size castle princess dollhouse. Everything's been going pretty good so while Chris was in the bouncy house we decided to take a little detour. When we got out this lady who looked to be in her later thirties or so came up to us. Rachel whispered it was Quinn's lady friend, Mackenzie.

"Why hello, you must be Chris's parents" she told us while shaking our hands
"Yea" Rachel said smiling
"How is it being separated and sharing a kid, especially at events like this?" Mackenzie asked looking me up and down the whole time, so I pulled Rachel closer and told her
"No, we're not separated, we're together" I told her straight, because I know how Rachel gets with people like her
"Oh" she said walking away without even saying goodbye
"Well she was rude" Rachel said kissing me on the lips

Rachel POV
What a slut! Isn't she a mother and like forty? She's suppose to be a role model not a hoe-bag! I'm so happy Finn set her straight without having me go all Santana in her face. This is why I love him, he's so sweet and kind and knows how to not piss me off.

Santana POV
I was at a table eating with Brits when I saw this dirty old lady talking to Finn and Rachel then just walk away rudely. Something tell me she going to be trouble.

Rachel POV
Chris finished eating and dragged me and Finn to the face painter. He was so happy, we said yes to letting him paint his face, but before we took a bunch of pictures with his clean face!
"Cam I gets the ninja tuwutle!?" Chris asked excited
"Sure what color birthday boy?" She asked
"BWUE!" He yelled jumping up and down
"Alright buddy calm down" Finn chuckled
After ten minutes of him sitting while the girl painted his face, he jumped off the chair and looked at us and said
"Look it momma and daddy! I'm a ninja turtle!" He yelled jumping up and down
"Yea you are baby" I said, because he's growing up so fast
"Daddy can we play football with uncle puck and mike!?" Chris asked running around
"Sure buddy" Finn said picking him up and heading toward the guys
I went over to Beth and Quinn and Mackenzie. Beth already had a painting of a tiara and was in deep discussion with the "princess".
"Hey girls" I said walking over to them
"Hey rach, how's Chris" Quinn asked happy that our party is a success
"He's good, having fun, just like Beth is over there" as soon as I said her name she turned around and hugged me saying
"Auntie Rachie! You didn't tell me your friend was a pwincess!" She said
"It was a surprise" I winked and saw Mackenzie roll her eyes
"Hello Mackenzie, nice to see you enjoying yourself" I said faking a smile
"Yea" she said blankly
"Is your son having a good time too?" I asked
"Yea he's peachy" she said walking away
"I don't know what's up with her" Quinn said confused
"Maybe it's midlife crisis" I said
"Oh, you're probably right" Quinn said patting my back

Rachel POV
After the boys finished their game, Chris wen to the bouncy house. I didn't even realize the time so I told Quinn and puck and they grabbed Beth and brought her over toward the cake. I went to go her Chris and when I came back with Chris on my hip Finn yelled
"Alright everybody! We're going to cut the cake!!" As soon as he said that everyone, kids, adults, grandparents, all ran to sing happy birthday. The candles were lit on both cakes and Finn was helping me hold Chris, while the three of us blew out the candles. Everyone took pictures. Finn put some frosting on Chris's nose. He just started bursting into a fit of giggles, it was the cutest thing ever. I was about to sit and eat cake with both of my boys when
"Hey Hudson's, come here family photo" Santana yelled

We walked over and took a bunch of photos by the tree where Quinn puck and Beth stood. One was of Chris kissing my cheek, and another one of Chris AND Finn kissing my cheek, then San took photos of Quinn, me and Beth and Puck, Finn, and Chris. The last photo was all of us with Chris and Beth. She said she was going to print them out tomorrow so we went back to eat the cake. Finn and Chris both had three pieces! So when they finished, we decided to open presents.
