"Sir, there's been a new update on Tritya's invasion of the jungle city!" A soldier rushed into the throne room, showing me an article from the local news, where the Helicopter of City News, Channel 11 was flying over the territory of Tritya-a small city right beside the jungle, a city that had the intention of destroying the jungle.
Up till recently, I would have no wish to stop them from doing so. But when I ventured into the jungle after a visit to a Trityan factory, the kids who saved my life changed my mindset. Those people deserved to live. We should respect them too, as equals and not treat them as second-class.
So that was when I embarked on a secret mission-secret from Tritya, at least-to stop those fools from destroying the home of my saviours.
"According to the news channel, they discovered that Tritya has almost finished their preparations for the invasion! They made bombs, guns, all sorts of other weaponry to shred the jungle to pieces! And, they've apparently already lined up their cannons to fire at the outermost edges of the jungle to open it up for an arena of battle, then later while the jungle people are distracted, bomb the heart of their empire!" My soldier informed me, reading from the tablet which delivered live footage from the helicopter.
"Well, we've made our own preparations," I answered confidently. "Most of the Trityan citizens are off on holiday, and we've already brought the others over to our country for 'safekeeping' with a convincing excuse before we bomb that place to pieces. And," I gestured to our military base not far away, "Our fighter jets are all readied up, our own cannons are aimed at their corrupt government's building and military factories to destroy them-the second they make their move, we'll be on their tails in seconds."
My soldier nodded respectfully and said, "Noted, sir."
When he left, I looked towards Tritya, where the jungle could barely be seen on the horizon from here. I smiled and murmured, "This is for you, Jessie, Leon and Nita. For you, I'm all in."
